• Service could be better.

“Nearly Norma's for lunch is great! Sit in the outdoor patio. Food is good and good for you. All fresh and no weird chain restaurant items. Highly recommend.”

• Easy to get to, waiter was great - super friendly.
• Food.

“Tried the Mc Menamins in Salem, it was pretty good. Then tried the one in Corvallis. My burger tasted like it came straight off the frozen burger truck. Not bad, just not anything I'd make a point of going back for.”

• Their lunch special w/chowder, salad & sourdough bread less than $10.
• Nothing.

“Very friendly, but not intrusive staff. Luncheon menu is a real bargain; dinner is more pricy. Great clam chowder. Excellent service. We are in Corvallis several times/year and usually go to McGraths at least once. Often with local friends. Although there are many tables, we occasionally experience a short wait if coming at typical lunch or dinner hours.”

• Great ambiance, service and food, overall wonderful.
• Short wine list, a little pricey.

“The ambiance was the best thing going and the food was very good, the service was great, the wine list was extremely short (only a few varieties and one or two choices per) but the cab we had was delicious and paired very well. Was a great place. I look forward to dining there again!”

• The atmosphere is what I like the best. They actually have a wood burning fire place that roars all through the winter.
• Sometime service has been a little slow.

“My parents live in Corvallis and every time my husband and I visit, we go to McMenamin's at least a couple times. We usually eat in the bar, which is smoke free and the closest thing to an actual English pub I've ever found in the United States. They have their own beer, which is very good. And everything I've tried on the menu is excellent, including great prices. This is a college town, so you run into college kids everywhere you go, but this place seems to attract the kind who come for conversation, not just get drunk.”
