“I love this place, I go there every day! There is such friendly service. The food rocks and the service is wonderful. It has a nice family atmosphere and it is very clean.”

“A true American classic. The pine bar, the experienced bartender, the best old fashioned you can hope to find, truly authentic Italian food, peerless strip and porterhouse steak, lamb and pork chops that are the best you will have. The white clam sauce can not be missed. The red sauce is perfect. Go! Enjoy! Come back! These types of restaurants are falling by the wayside as more and more Americans think national chains are fine dining. Go to the Green Arch and taste the difference!”

“Excellent food served in amazingly small portions at steep prices. We ordered a half carafe of wine and it was just over half full when it arrived. When questioned, the server said that Fabio's doesn't fill the half carafes to the fill line but fills it only enough to pour two glasses. Ergo a $50 savings over two glasses. Weird! Ergo it shouldn't be called a half carafe! The salads were tasty but very small portions. The bread was piping hot and delicious (and ample). Our (my wife and I) pasta dishes were very good but the amount of pasta in each dish wasn't even adequate for a 3 year old! We can't imagine what the Bistro portions are like - probably fit in a thimble! The decor is early hideous. We won't return mainly because of the parsimonious portions. Too bad. The food is excellent. While most prices are over $20 per entree, our dishes were $11.50 and $14.50 respectively. Reasonable if it weren't for those ghastly portions!”

“Salad and bread were great. Mussels were terrific. The two veal dishes were terrible made with something like hot peppers which does not belong in Veal Piccata or Veal Marsala! The waitress was nothing less than obnoxious, and ruined what could have been a much better experience. The entire interior of the restaurant needs "finishing" and carpeting.”

“I had the veal ala Romano. It was overdone and tasted like it was made out of shredded meat. For $20 expected better. The salad was excellent and the waitress was very nice. The music being played was just short of rap or possibly something from the Caribbean. If it was to be a romantic dinner that would have ruined the ambience.”

“This used to be a great diner, but it has been closed due to a kitchen fire and the owner does not plan to repair or open it back up.”

“It looks like a tiny Irish pub, but the bar front "hides" a cozy Italian restaurant in the back. Paneled walls and a fireplace add to the coziness. Service is prompt and very friendly, and the food is fantastic. The menu features pasta dishes as well as steaks, chicken, and Friday fish (broiled or fried). Service starts with amazing bread with butter and oil for dipping, followed by salad with a variety of dressings. There is a soup du jour as well as an entree of the day that tends to be more upscale or adventurous than the daily menu. Desserts vary nightly, from cannoli to creme brulee. Prices are moderate, in line with nicer restaurants in the area and definitely fair compared to similar places in nearby Ithaca. My favorite restaurant here!”
