“Kind of ordinary, cliche, but the food won't poison you.”

“In April 2009 I was on a road trip to Toronto and I stopped here for a pit stop. I've been driving 10 straight hours and needed something to tie me over. Well there it is, right off the NY expressway. Very cheap donuts, good quality, very tasteful, and friendly staff too! It took me 2 weeks to track down the name again so the next trip I take will be to dickies donuts.”

“This restaurant is over rated as it is supposed to be known for its ribs. I have traveled around these great United States and can tell you the ribs here were bad. The salad I received was poor and the vegetables were absolutely horrible. The service I must admit was very good and I did like the sports bar, but I will never go to this place again.”

“After waiting for at least 45 minutes for our food to come out, it came out cold. After it was returned to be heated, it came out cold. Never again!”

“Last year my family went into this restaurant and quickly left because the decor was old and atmosphere less than adequate. When we went here for a family party, it wasn't our choice. The place did have new carpet, which helped. I had to give the atmosphere a 3 because the bathroom was a single stall, and no one could use the sink when occupied. Also, the plates left something to be desired. I gave a 5 for service because the waitress did try to get our food in a timely fashion, but there were mix ups in the order and somehow she had the wrong tray for our table. I gave 1 for the food because among all of us there, we all thought our dinners were not so good, and the price on the food was high! The fried food was so overcooked and so hard it was inedible, the steak looked like it was reheated and overcooked/hard. The ribs (which is what this place is known for) were not that great. I wasn't surprised, and I will not be back to eat here again, even if it is for a party.”

“The food here is the best Italian food I have had in the USA! My compliments to the chef! I would highly recommend Otto's if you love good Italian food!”

“Stepping into the nicely decorated restaurant gave us a good feeling. We saw the wine list which was pretty pricey but didn't let that put us off. We ordered one $40 steak and one $27 sirloin and both were fatty and overcooked. The waitress tried telling us it was the light that made them look brown but the lack of juices and inferior quality of the meat told us otherwise. We will not go back!”

“I love this place! It has the best clam pizza Ive ever tasted, and the folks there are the friendliest around. Their pizzas have always been a favorite of mine, Ive been going for years to Marvino's, and will continue to do so.”

“One word, ghetto! I have lived in buffalo all my life, the club/restaurant has seen much better days. Last straw was on a Friday night, the "security" wanted to charge me $5.00 to pick up my food I ordered! They have an airport quality metal detector at the door to check customers, so that should give you a clue about the clientele. The anchor bar is 5 minutes away, run, don't walk to that place, and avoid this one at all costs!”

“We held a family wedding reception at Harrys. They treated us wonderfully in setting up the wedding. The place looked fabulous; the food while good at our tasting meal was so so when prepared for several hundred guests. Our big complaint is that despite being charged 20 present gratuities on the bar bill, the bartenders also placed tip cups at the bar and raked in hundreds of dollars from our guests. Complaints to the manager went without response even when we protested in writing. Think twice before booking a large event here. .”

“We found this establishment (recommended at the mansion hotel) to be a pleasant surprise. We could not believe that we could find this quality of food outside of a major market city. If you are ever in Buffalo, this would be the place to dine. The menu had great variety and the wine list was extensive and excellent.”

“The food was of excellent quality and quantity. The waitress was very friendly, informative, and accommodating. Almost everything was conducive to making this a fabulous dining experience. The only reason that I will never set foot in the place again is the haughty bartender. Three minutes at the bar made our entire party feel that we did not belong in this place.”

“Panos has a nice variety of food, which do not find on a "typical" restaurant. The best I like from panos is the honey yogurt with berries and granola. Omg is to die for. I go every single day to get one. I am obsessed with it because I have never eaten so nice "treat"- and healthy. Thumbs up for panos!”

“We had dined at the Bistro several times over the last few years. The food is exquisitely prepared with flavorful touches to the seafood and steaks. We liked the peppercorn salmon/tuna and the beef dishes. Servers are pleasant and engaging. Also, parking is a breeze as you just hand keys to a valet and walk into the Bistro. The brick decor, tasteful artwork and black and white clad servers produce a rustic yet elegant setting. Plus it's only 100 steps from Shear's!”

“The food is excellent and the service was beautifully paced. It is a great value - plenty of food and the salad and soup were included in the price. It can be a bit close making it a tad noisy but it has a family table feel with a wonderful touch of elegance. Romantic? That very much depends on who you are with, as any location can lend itself to romance. I (we) try to go often and I would recommend it to all.”

“Excellent food. All of it. Huge wings. Special pizza sauce. Can't say enough about the food. All of the employees - including every waitress - are there with a smile. Very positive place. Happy. Clean. Plenty of seating. I love it there. I was one of his first customers and Iżll definitely be his last.”

“I can only comment on the food -- outstanding fish fry! I started eating their food on a whim because a friend waitresses there. I have only used the take out, as my family much rather prefers eating at home while relaxing and watching television. The fish fry is the best I have ever had, and I have tried many fish fries in my life. An outstanding size piece of fish beer battered just nicely, not hard or greasy. The salads are all home made and very tasty. The chicken finger dinner is also very good. After reading the previous review I will now have to try the wings. The former Smithy's had the best wings so Iżll have to see how OżBrienżs can compare. The ambiance of the place looks like a typical bar area, but the restaurant was very homey.”

“This McDonalds has gone way down it use to be the only one I would go to but lately they have been very bad from service to food. In my opinion its management they had a whole drive thru full of cars and 4 people inside waiting to be waited on and not 1 fry basket down.”

“Soho is one of the best bars and places on Chippewa. Always serves as a great hang out and you can't help but have a good time, even when itżs crowded! Very attractive crowd and excellent music!! The bartenders are friendly and know their drinks, especially Sean Coughlin!! Def. A good spot to go for Friday happy hour or just to go out on the weekend with your friends!!! I and my girlfriends go whenever Iżm back from coli. It's always been the who's who of buffalo.”

“This is my regular spot for lunch and I take for granted some of its unique features. The Signature Cafe is a gourmet sandwich and pizza cafe with prices that are cheaper than a run of the mill pizza or sub shop. They have a wide selection of coffee and teas drinks. They are also open for breakfast and Friday nights for a fish fry, but I have only gone there for lunch. I go there for the great tasting food that is prepared with healthy fresh ingredients. They have homemade soup along with sandwich specials. I often get the half a Napoli (witch looks like a whole sandwich) and ether soup or a mixed green salad for $5.95. My favorite special is the apple walnut salad with raspberry vinaigrette dressing (they offer it with grilled chicken also). Its in the same building that Karenna's restaurant was on Elmwood at Amherst, just down from the art gallery. The Cafe has been reconfigured and remodeled to have a more comfortable layout and now has full table service along with takeout and catering. It can get a little busy at lunchtime so I get there a little before noon or after one to avoid the rush.”

“Hard to believe this type of restaurant could be located on Kensington Ave. near Harlem Rd. Not what you would expect. At first glance just another restaurant pitched in a mostly residential neighborhood, probably gets overlooked, not much to notice, tucked in near a McDonalds and a supermarket. But what a delicious, cheerful authentic Italian dining experience. I have eaten in many restaurants, many that claim to be Italian, you know the type, big name, big commercials and big lines to get in, and in a big hurry to get you out. This hotel is not like that at all because it truly provides warm, cozy, friendly service and hospitality. The kind of hospitality that makes you wish you were in Italy and at the least makes it seem like you could be in Italy. (If you close your eyes, smell and taste the authentic fresh homemade food, hear the soft Italian music in the background, taste the Italian wine). It's nice to have such a place in our home town. Excellent restaurant, excellent food. Highly recommended.”

“Outstanding service and marvelous "classic" Italian food. Sauteed artichokes as appetizer. Bracciole, heavenly, you can cut it with a fork. Great cocktails and of course, Blue Eyes on the sound system. It's a bit of a throwback but unlike most "retro" restaurants, it is NOT tired or shopworn. Feels as if the ownership is dedicated to a first-rate (old-fashioned) dining experience.”

“Bing's has some of the best Italian food I've come across in a long time. It is not far from the airport and downtown Buffalo. They have 2 dining rooms divided by a door which I was informed was installed as a solution to the smoking laws. A very nice fireplace warms the bar area and also accommodates diners. In full view is a lovely espresso machine which has it's own unique history as I was informed. There is a large Patio which is used during the finer weather with live music on the weekends sometimes. The menu is classic and contemporary Italian. There are a lot of healthy options also on the menu for diners looking to watch their carbs. We were greeted in a friendly manner. We didn't. No problem because it was early and were seated promptly. We started out with an order of the Artichoke Gratin, Spinach bread and Pasta Fagioli. Our server mentioned they had won several awards in local festivals as have the desserts (made in house). The appetizers arrived about 8 minutes later. We had already received our drinks. Italian music plays in the background also. This is obviously a family owned and operated business. The owners son waited on us! Lots of pasta, veal and seafood. Most items have carb counts and weight watcher points too. Entrees come with a salad though we opted to split the Panzanella salad. I was surprised to find such authenticity. After our salads we were given a lemon sorbet. A short wait and our entrees arrived. I had the Sicilian Steak which is served with spaghetti squash. It was flavorful and spicy. A perfect medium rare sliced and fanned. My partner had the Chicken del Giorno with almonds, mushrooms and a sweet orange flavored brown sauce served over pasta. Good sized portions so we took some with us and made sure we had room for the dessert. The carrot cake and chocolate go diva were delicious. There is also a carb free cheese cake available, gelato and cassata cake. Pretty extensive specials list delivered well spoken. I would recommend Bing's to anyone traveling through Western New York. Open since 1989 you'll definitely be satisfied and have something to tell folks once you get back home. ”

“This has to be Buffalo's best kept secret. I have been there 3 times and the food is EXCELLENT, prepared fresh like at home. This place truly has the best wings I've ever tasted. Try them Honey Cajun you will love them. They also have south buffalos smithy style wings which others in the area have and are good but this place just perfects them! I would recommend it to anyone. After hours is just as great people all around and a awesome music box. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home.. you leave feeling like you made a ton of new friends. WONDERFUL JOB.”

“Great coffee, great atmosphere. More of a coffee house feel, artsy, live music on some nights. Lots of room inside and outdoor sidewalk seating, too. Location right on the corner of Chippewa and Delaware puts it in the heart of the Chippewa Club Zone. They are directly across the street from a Starbucks. If you can be successful selling coffee next to Starbucks, then you got to be doing something right.”
