“New owners, stale grease salad bar sitting in dirty water management, cashier, manager, part owner disgusting. Do not try this place. I drove 25 miles for Catfish and ended up with a bite of mud, so I tried a bite of other things to the same avail. 3 out of 4 of us got deathly ill after our visit.”

“After many years (and different owners), I returned to Catfish Cabin this evening for a nice dinner with my parents. Go elsewhere. I have found a better selection of food, of a greater quality, at national chain buffets.”

• The root beer is fantastic, especially in the icy glass mugs.
• No negatives to report.

“I decided to try the items that I had heard which included the hot dogs, the tater tots and the icy mug root beer. The hot dog was good, not outstanding but good. They use wieners from Schwanns which anyone can buy so that kind of limits the uniqueness in my opinion. The tater tots were good but again it's hard to mess up frozen packaged tater tots. I will certainly come back to try some of the other menu items. No frills, no fancy anything and to me that is a plus not a negative. We never wanted for anything while were there. If you are looking for a really interesting place to stop for a meal and aren't bothered by a lack of commercialization then definitely consider Coit's. The root beer alone will make the trip worthwhile (definitely go for the icy glass mug).”

• Portions are too big, make you fat.

• Love the freshness of all the foods.
• Take out is slow, and they usually forget to add Naan.

“Ajanta is my favorite, go for a treat, restaurant. The food is authentic Indian, the servers are attentive, and will help you decide what to order. My choice is usually Chicken Tikka Masala. However the Chicken Korma is yummy too. Their tandoori chicken if fabulous too. I think they have a buffet at lunch time if you want to try a variety of different tasty foods!”

“Most hole in the wall places are the best but this place is above all others. Absolutly the best tacos plus. Nacho Supreme is my favorite and is a Tacoville original. The best food value anywhere. Stop by at lunch time its hard to find a parking spot but well worth finding one. Stop by more than once and they will call by name.”

• The bread and coconut butter was great!
• The brisket was dry and tough.

“The bread and coconut butter were excellent. We had the BBQ Family Style for two. The brisket was tough and dry. My husband had the ribs and he said they were good. The turkey was also pretty good. The kona BBQ sauce was very sour, but perhaps that is the Kona way. The beans were seasoned with the sauce, so that made them sour tasting. The service was fine and the time to get our order was fine.”

• The eatery showcases a picture of a man in blackface.

“Jamil's showcases a picture of a man in blackface. This behavior embodies American racism that we sometimes think is from a time long gone, but this slaps us back into reality. I am sickened by this display and I would not encourage anyone to visit this eatery.”

“What a surprise! It was the best meal I have had in a long time. The food is beautifully presented and very large portions. The menu has lots to choose from: steak, shrimp, catfish, chicken tenders, chicken fried steak, BBQ, hamburgers and sandwiches, all at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is lovely too. Can't wait to go again!”

• The piano bar was great after dinner.
• Clueless drink server, no presentation on food.

“For a place billed as "fine dining" it was quite a disappointment. The food was good, and quite edible, but not what I expected after seeing this place mentioned on a number of sites as a high end/fine dining establishment. The prices fit the billing, but not the food, presentation, or service. Our food server was average at best. Our bar/beverage server was a joke. If the only thing you serve is drinks from the bar, knowing a little about booze would be a good idea. When I asked what single malt scotches they had, she was clueless, and told me they had jack Daniels single barrel. Not even the same type of whiskey (or whisky if you want to spell it like the scoots). She had to bring me a list. Now, that wouldn't have bothered me quite so much if it were any other restaurant, but in a "nicer" place, you'd expect them to serve and know about higher end liquors. Especially if bar service is the only thing she's handling. Sad. From what I hear it used to be quite the nice place. One highly redeeming factor was the piano bar after dinner. That was awesome. It starts at I believe 8:30 nightly. Quite a good time, and we wound up closing the place.”

“Servers are fast and friendly, they brought bowls of queso to each of my 3 boys, even brought a second bowl to my 7 year old. When I got the bill, they charged $5 for each bowl of queso. Watch out!”

“The Coach House is a restaurant you go to when you want to get away from it all and just enjoy a wonderful meal with your husband/wife. It is romantic and the food is wonderful. If you're not use to fancy plates and amazing representation of food this will be a great experience for you. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.”

• Food was extremely slow and other ten customers at the time went through the same hour wait.

“Stopped here when new to the city and simple orders required an hour plus wait. something was wrong in the kitchen. finally when I told the waitress the chef had ten minutes to get us our food, it appeared finally and was great. the restaurant was not crowded in the least when we were their the entire time. Still don't understand that. should have comped us the meal, I probably would have gone back. ”

• I loved their Ok Supreme baked catfish which they discontinued.
• Quit serving the Ok Supreme.

“Even though I haven't eaten here in about a year I had eaten here dozens of times prior. The food was always consistent and delicious. There was a drop in quality when the Hamilton's sold out a few years back but it was still an excellent place to eat if you like sea food/fish. ”

“My wife and I have gone there on our wedding anniversary the past 3 years. We just went on Friday, August 11th, and did the chef's choice. It was wonderful. This was our third time to do the chef's choice and each time has been superb. ”

• The food is made fresh and in nice portions, Dry Goods are awesome.

“Gopuram is a decent establishment. The food is superb. The environment is pleasant. Gopuram is one of the best Indian restaurants in Oklahoma City. I reccomend this restaurant to all persons who have a curiousity for fine Indian cuisine.”

• The bathrooms were not the cleanest.

“The food was wonderful - no Tex-Mex Taco Bell selections. The Salmon de Carlos was perfect, as was the icy cold Mojito. Our group of 8 were satisfied with the portion size, which was almost too large. The service could have been better if the waiter did not forget two of our drinks. However, he did bring the correct order immediately. Overall, the restaurant is now on our favorites list.”

“For over 30 years I ate at Ann's Chicken Fry at least 15 of the 21 days I was in Oklahoma City for the state fair and always ordered the same thing, Chicken fried steak and not once in over 400 times was I ever disappointed. The chicken fried steak is outstanding but it's the cream gravy that makes Ann's special it's thicker than most. French Fries are extremely plentiful and good especially with gravy on half of them and ketchup on the other half. Ann's salad with garlic dressing is excellent as is their fried okra which is the best I have ever eaten. If you choose mashed potatoes you get a double order PLUS a vegetable. I have not been to Ann's for a few years and I sure do miss it.”

• Best tasting crust I have had. Lettuce is always fresh and crisp.
• I ask about atmosphere. It's simple but overhead is low, so prices stay affordable.

“I cannot believe anyone would think this pizza bland. The crust is the best I have had. The lasagna, spaghetti, and Alfred's are yummy! Calzone is wonderful. Most pizza places don't make their own pepperoni nor sausage. The Italian sausage is great. Put that on your pizza instead of the regular if you want a spicy flavor. The pizza sauce has been carefully tested for quality and over all flavor. If you prefer more sauce, ask. I prefer light sauce so the crust stays nice.

“I started eating at Tacoville in the mid to late 60's and have never found a better taco. I like mine in the form of a taco burger. The hot sauce is excellent, but make sure you do not use too much of it or you will be burning all afternoon. I moved away from Oklahoma City 18 years ago but still make sure I visit Tacoville every time I am back in town.”

• Coffee, Mom's Chicken salad and the darling couple that runs this amazing coffee and lunch shop

“I have been all over the country and am always looking for the next Espresso Buzz Cafe'. Its been since 1997 when I first stepped in this amazing cafe, the service, lunch goodies and the CAFE have never even come close to matching the enjoyment of this little diamond in the heart of Oklahoma City. You have set the standard in my book on what I always look for in a Cafe. Best coffee ever!”

“This restaurant opened almost 30 years ago and I think some of the the food on the buffet has been out that long. This was a really bad meal. The floors were dirty. the tables uncleared and the help rude. Save your money.”

• The overall flavor and quality of the food was excellent.
• Wished they had a garlic in olive oil to dip that bread in!

• It was always an interesting place to go, I like it because I'm lactose intolerant and I can have the awesome spaghetti instead of the delightfully delicious pizza.
