User Reviews for Lawton Restaurants« Go back to Rancho Santa Fe Travel GuideResearch User Reviews for Lawton (1-8 of 8)Lone Star Steakhouse & Saloon
“They have the best Filet Mignon ever! The salad with their Texas Ranch dressing and their rolls are delicious. The service has always been great. We eat there every time we visit Lawton, if at all possible. And they have great ice tea! You won't be sorry you ate there!”

“The food is good but the service is terrible. Service is done by high school/college kids and they don't get in a hurry for anybody.”

“Whatever you do. Don't come here. I have had one too many rotten experiences here. The service is terrible and the food, oh my, to be in business for 56 years they should be doing things better than they do. The quality of their food is poor. Many people just rave about their pizza. Better off buying one of the cheesy frozen pizzas at Wal-Mart.”

Bianco's Italian Restaurant “Please don't waste your money on this poor quality. This place is 56 years old. There food is so outdated and there bathroom was dirty! So if enjoy wood paneling from the 1970's and cardboard pizza is your thing then by all means eat there.”

“Don't waste your money at this dump. 56 years and running. It shows, and god forbid you tell the owner you had a bad experience. She doesn't care. She will put you down in your place.”

“If you want authentic Italian pizza that just makes you want to keep eating even way beyond being full go to Bianco's. I've been eating Bianco's pizza since I was a small child and I have never had any that compares. It has not changed through the years and I don't think you could find anything like it in the country.”

“I travel constantly and always look for exceptional local restaurants in smaller cities. This place is absolutely terrific. One of the very best small Italian family restaurants. It is authentic (not retro) 50's style (it started in 1957 and their current menu is almost exactly the same as the one they published in 1958 - except for the prices which are very reasonable). A genuine "time warp" experience. Most of the food is homing cooked - and home made. The staff is very friendly. I was knocked out by the pizza with (home made) turkey sausage and the chicken cacciatore.”

“Fisherman's Cove offers a great menu of seafood, chicken, and some ribs to die for. They even offer frog legs and snails for the more adventurous. The portions are quite plentiful, and the staff is very friendly. Alcoholic beverages are served with meals. I usually order the sweet iced tea, and you never have to ask for a refill. It's there. Polish off your meal with a slice of some delicious Key Lime Pie. Every meal comes with some complimentary apple tarts. might be fighting over those. Great place to eat. Reservations are not necessary, as the location is a bit off of the beaten path. After the meal, it's just a short drive to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife refuge. On second thought.. Better to take in the refuge before feasting at this great restaurant.”
