“I've tasted a lot of Mexican food over the past 40 years, and Abuelitas in Bernalillo is my favorite. One of the things I like is that they are consistently good at what they do. If you have to go out of your way to eat there, it is well worth it.”

• Great dish, helpful waitress, all sorts of people to watch!
• Well, the house vegetables were a little heavy on the broccoli but everything was cooked crispy.

“Outstanding. I have to watch fats in my diet, so I asked the waitress to recommend a dish. I got the fresh turkey breast (moist and tender) with house mashed potatoes (absolutely delicious) with green chili gravy over the top! I plan to serve green Chile over my turkey this thanksgiving. But I don't know if I can match the quality at the range!”

“We enjoyed the patio experience overlooking the Rio Grande River, but being long-time New Mexicans, we thought the food mediocre, and the service even worse. We will not return. There are so many better places to eat nearby. "The Range" in "downtown" Bernalillo isn't fancy by any means, but we've never had a bad meal there, either American or "New" Mexican fare.”
