“The Carter Brothers got their start at Henry James Barbeque. They learned well. I really like the barbeque and the sides. They have fresh cakes every day and that's always a plus. It's not gourmet, but good barbeque - as good as you can get without driving to Lexington, N.C. I often see many of the family members working in the restaurant and everyone is courteous. I especially like the new Archdale location.”

“First off, we stood at the door waiting to be seated while 2 waitresses were carrying on their own conversation. Once seated the waitress took our order & the food came out. It seemed to have taken a while for what we ordered & when it was brought out, 2 of the 5 orders were completely wrong. When we asked her to take the orders back, she rolled her eyes- totally not acceptable! Overall, it was a terrible experience & we will not be going back!.”

“The food was great; however, the air was bad. It reeked of cigarette smoke even in the morning when we were dining when there are fewer smokers. My clothes and hair smelled of cigarette smoke for about 2 hours. .”

“Carolina's Diner is my favorite place to eat at. The menu is so vast that you can always have something different everyday if you wanted. I love the fact that they are 24 hours, especially when I get a late night craving for a diner mite one covered is delicious syrup. The wait staff is always friendly and they know how to make you feel at home when you are there. I must eat there at least 5-6 times a week.”

“I stopped in on my way through high point for morning meeting. Got a great latte and a muffin. People working were very nice and made me feel as if I had been coming there for years. Was surprised to find they roasted there own coffee.”

“I have been to Carolina Diner a handful of times. Nothing sticks out in my mind as far as outstanding food but I can say I've never had a plate I complained about. That's not to say their food isn't good, I've had several meals I'd do again. I wish they would include skim milk with their breakfast menu. The biggest thing that sticks out, food wise is the fact that out of nowhere today I got the urge to drive out there just for a slice of pie. I love that they're open 24 hours.”
