“Very good pizza and reasonably priced. Servers were friendly but not polished.”

“Great Italian food, the next best to my wonderful late mother's. Friendly service and everyone was satisfied. REAL Italian food, not the Nouvelle Cuisine bogus stuff. Great real Cappuccino and Espresso, too. Try the Lasagna. I don't know if they still refuse credit cards, so take cash. Also don't know if they still have Manicotti and stuffed shells, but they used to make the best.”

“Everything is authentic and delectable. Limited menu but you will walk out satisfied. The staff is very friendly, we are regulars there so it's almost like going into our own home. Owner himself is always almost there to say hello and greet everyone. Very romantic and quaint. We recommend it to all of our friends and family. If you like a nice small, quiet, romantic, delicious food. We recommended Angelo's.”

“Angelo's has the best Italian food around. Yes the menu is limited but anything I ever ordered was excellent. Just like my mom used to make!”

“I have been going to La Cibeles for about 7 years now and had wonderful experiences every single time I was there. The bread was excellent and we always got a bowl of garlic sauce as an appetizer to dip the bread in. The chicken was my dish of choice with no bones and I always have enough for lunch the next day. My wife and I love this place so much, we even got engaged there! I highly recommend going and having a great experience.”

“There are very few Polynesian restaurants today. Lee's has been around for over four decades (under different owners). The Polynesian food is superb! Complete Chinese menu also, but I prefer the Polynesian. Wait staff is excellent. They cater to young children, making them feel very special with leis, extra fruit and cherries, etc. Overall, a wonderful place to dine!”

“Upon entering Angelo¿s, we were met by a not very friendly hostess. The menu was very limited offering no fish or chicken. I settled on rigatoni that was very undercooked with sauce that I thought was tasteless. The tables were so close that the waiter hit my chair every time he passed. I found the atmosphere dark, depressing and in need of some updating. Our tablecloth had a hole directly in front of my plate...”

“My husband and I have been going to this restaurant for years. And we have never been let down. The food is excellent, service excellent. All over excellent! There is a wide variety of food choices. And I love their moon - thus dinner special menu.”

“Despite reading a poor review, I checked the menu and decided to try la cables. I was very pleasantly surprised. The wait staff was helpful and attentive, and the service was good. The atmosphere was fine, and the restaurant was busy on the Wednesday night I visited. Many of the diners were "en faille" and that was reminiscent of restaurants in Spain. The food was very good, although the portions were huge. Almost everyone had to take away what they couldn't finish. The calamari¿s were fried perfectly and accompanied by a nicely spiced sauce. The seafood paella was excellent - if anything it had too much seafood in it! I¿ll definitely be back for more! I can't speak for the meat dishes, as I don't eat them, but they're also not a specialty of Spain. If you want steak - eat at a steakhouse! If you want good, honest, Spanish food - eat at la cables.”

“Ordered a cheeseburger well-done and it was very good as it was not too dry. My friend and I shared onion rings which were very tasty and not greasy. Portions decent. The atmosphere was very much like a diner, well-kept, and clean. Actually many might find it upscale. Some patrons were dressed as if going to the theater in Manhattan. Very interesting to me as an out-of-towner visiting a friend in jersey. Only negative I have is the coleslaw was tasteless which I didn't finish. Will definitely go back on my next visit. ”

“I went there on Mother's Day with my wife, her sister, mother and grandmother for what was supposed to be a nice Mother's Day dinner. Instead the food was sub-par and not cooked the way it was requested. I ordered a medium-rare shell steak that was burned to a crisp, a filet mignon dinner was requested to be cooked medium and it was just about raw, two orders of salmon filets had many bones in them and the salad was awful. The restaurant itself is rundown and very dingy looking. It needs a facelift badly. The men's room was very dirty also. I was so disappointed and ashamed that I took my family there. It used to be a great place. We will NEVER go there again.”
