“Only 1 other table occupied and we had to wait to be seated. Server brought the iced tea, I ordered and spilled it all over me and never came back to clean up nor give us menus. We walked out and will never return. The menu prices were exorbitant. Whenever I go by there, there are only 1 or 2 cars in the lot. They will close soon, mark my words!”

• Service, food quality, not worth the money.

“The Astor has recently re opened after years of renovations, so my wife and me though we would give it a try. The improvements are nice and the decor a little fancy for a dinner, but we assumed they were try to go a little more upscale. This seemed a bit pricey for dinner breakfast. So we were thinking the upscale atmosphere would translate into upscale food quality. We were wrong on that account. The pancakes were bland and the chocolate chips semi sweet, the omelets was small and nothing to rave or complain about (except the $10 price) and came with a side salad. The quality of the food is enough to keep us from returning. The servers are new and have had little training; they are slow and a bit uncouth. The service may improve with time and experience with the menu, but at this point leave a lot to be desired. The overall experience was an overpriced breakfast with less than average food and service.”

“This is a delightful little restaurant tucked away in a busy shopping center in Lansdale. The food is amazing. The ambiance very relaxing and the service extraordinary. We love this restaurant and go as often as possible!”

• The water is free refills.
• Everything else.

“Not family friendly all the locals that sit at the bar smoke like chimneys and curse up a storm. Back of the restaurant says no smoking, but they do anyway which s for us non smokers. The place should be called destines since thats the delivery people who bring in all the already frozen entrees and stuff. All the "cook" has to do is know how to use a microwave. Anything you order as far as lasagna or manicotti or the like will taste freezer burnt. Except for the bartenders, the service s. The best part of Marianos tavern is summed up in one word. Faust.”
