“The waitress was rude. She not want to write down the meal order. Gave me an unpleasant look when I asked her to. Reminded her I am a customer. She said she would do it in a rude way. She gave me the bill. Then ran away and not come back. She nicer to male customers than to female customers. She was white and young.”

“Very good at a great price! I've made it out of here paying under $10 for a meal every time, sometimes only $5. The sushi is normally pretty fresh as the chef's prepare it all day; Iżve never had anything that doesn't taste fresh. The conveyor makes picking out what you want quick and easy. Highly recommended.”

“I've been to vesper twice, the first time was for lunch and although the pasta dish was ok, it was nothing special and quite expensive for what it was. Still, not enough to avoid giving the restaurant a second try, and the decor was quite nice. My second visit was so disastrous we did not stay for dinner. I had arranged to meet a friend there for drinks and dinner mid-week, and had arrived a bit early. I decided to wait at the bar with a glass of wine. As I was sitting there the manager walks by and says "it's a bit early for wine isn't it?" first, it was 5:30, not noon, and second, what in the world is the manager of a restaurant doing making negative comments about what, when or where I have a glass of wine? I ignored it, but I was irritated by it. After a few minutes a woman came in and sat at the bar - yes, she looked a bit run down, but she was not dirty or bothering me or anyone else. The manager practically ran her out with Nasty remarks. He did not simply ask her to leave - he insulted her until she left. Then, at last my date arrived and as she was walking in the door the manager exclaimed "not another one!ż meaning another single female customer he did not want, and headed toward the door to keep her from entering. Now my friend is one of the most attractive young Asian women you will ever see, and even something of a fashion clothes-horse (as well as being a physician), so I was taken aback by this weird behavior by the manager, but I managed to let him know she was with me before he got to her! Needless to say, we did not stay for dinner. I managed to make up some reason we should change restaurants, so my friend never found out she was almost accused of being a bag lady by the manager and denied entry. I know I will never step foot in the vesper restaurant again.”

“Having read about this restaurant in Southern Living magazine, I was excited to give it a try. I was very disappointed. The food was okay, but nothing special. I had the pork chops and they were no better than I could make at home. With a $10.95 price tag, they were hardly worth the effort. The other guests in my group had the fried chicken and thought their money would have been better spent at KFC. We all had the green beans and they were awful, tasting like they had gone straight from the can to the plate. My advice is to skip this restaurant and go to Four Corners. For the same price, you will get a consistently good meal and better atmosphere.”
