User Reviews for Clark Restaurants« Go back to Yardley Travel GuideResearch User Reviews for Clark (1-4 of 4)Friendly's
“Service was absolutely horrendous. Took forever to clear up vacated tables, even then table we were seated at was still sticky. Free refills are offered but many times we had to go out of our way to find the server who was too busy chatting to do her job. Our food was tasteless and many dishes seemed overly greasy. Entrees were brought out maybe 5 minutes after the appetizers. By the time we got to the main entrees our food was cold. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.”

“Slow to be seated. Ordered drinks right away. Took a while to receive them. Refills were sparse. Took forever to just give our order. Even longer for food to arrive. Check came very fast though. Server wasn't really out on the floor. They are hard to get a hold of. This has been our experience every visit to a Friendly. If the food wasn't so good we wouldn't go, believe me. The wait is ridiculous. I will always be a friendly customer but I do believe that something needs to be done to get the people in the seats, feed, and out on their way. No one was ever rude or nasty. It's just slow. You better have some time if you are going to eat in!”

“The Windsor is nice when you want to go out with both your family and friends. The service is great and you are never ignored by a waiter. Not to mention, I am always satisfied with the food. Keep up the good work.”

“Tarantellas are a find! It¿s off the beaten path but accessible. Our family tried this restaurant when we first moved out to the east coast desperately looking for a great non-chain restaurant. This is it! Family owned and I assumed operated. (We¿ve seen the grandkids running around once.) We've since moved out of the area, but we vowed to make the trek from Delaware at least once a year - because the food was so good. There are the traditional Italian items you'd expect to see from an Italian restaurant, but also some very nice surprises, like the seafood dishes, wonderfully made chicken and veal dishes. Its not just different types of pasta drawing in marinara sauces either. At the entrance, there is a great specials board. At least one person in your party has to try at least one of them. They are wonderful! I'm not exactly a wine connoisseur, but educated about wine enough to know good wine. Sadly, at our last visit of April of 2006 - their wine "list" is lacking. However you can BYOB for a nominal corking fee! And, last but not least, one of the greatest dessert menus (and availability) for a small restaurant that size. From traditional Italian dessert specialties to some nicely done frozen confections. (Most probably bought from a supplier, but very good quality.).”
