“We love this restaurant. An authentic Italian menu, fabulous food, knowledgeable waiters, fantastic selection and top notch specials. We have never been disappointed in the five years we have been going there, either with family, a romantic dinner with my wife or for various celebrations and get together with friends.”

“Appetizers, Lobster Ravioli ~ WOW! Excellent, real lobster meat! Mahi and Tuna Bites were tasty and a bit on the spicy side but delicious. Filet Mignon Oscar was better then most restaurants in NYC. 10 oz piece with lump crab meat. The girls we were with had a great Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and a awesome thin crust pizza. Be careful of the drinks, and this happened last time we were here too. They are strong and good. Not shy on the alcohol. Best view of the river and boats at the shore. See you again in the summer!”

“The food was good, but on a Saturday evening during the season the restaurant was so noisy that two of us could not have a conversation across our table. Shipwreck Grill is definitely priced for folks used to paying Upper East Side prices.”

“A very expensive place with bad nasty waiters who leave you hanging and never ask how things are or if you need anything. Drinks are pricey and the bartender lacks the knowledge to make basic cocktails. Expect a bad table if you are not a "regular". Food is served drenched heavily in sauces. Waiter will put pepper on everything if you want it or not.”

“Our first dinning experience there and it was wonderful. The oysters my husband had, said they were the best! The lobster bisque was excellent. Our waitress was superb. She walked us through the menu, and our selections were wonderful. The rack of lamb with risotto for me, and the venison for my husband was excellent. The peach and blueberry cobbler, were to die for. And to start the evening off, I must add, was the best. Cant remember the bartenders name, but he made the best dirty Smirnoff martini, up, I have ever had. The complimentary app. at the bar, served by staff, was also excellent. We cant wait to go back!”

“If you are tired of the typical bacon and egg restaurant then this is the place for you! What a great mix of different foods and tastes. It is a little cramped because everyone is trying to get in to eat!”
