“The beer at the Blackhorse is great, I would recommend any of the darker beers. As far as food goes, the pizza is top notch and the rest of the menus is very good as well.”

“The place is always dirty tables are always sticky or food on the food and lots of flies 5the bathrooms are away dirty they never get your order right. Heaven help you go through the drive threw by the time you get home you find. Your order is wrong, they all the red tape to go back and wait for ever to get your food by then you don't want it I have seen worker use the bathroom never wash their hands handle food bare handed too to remove a pickle from my order after I said no pickles! Shame on you McDonald hire some adults to work not just teenagers who don't care.”

“I liked the food but the lady up front was loud I would not come here for a quiet romantic night out. She is loud.”

“If you are ever in, Clarksville TN and want to visit a local microbrewery I would suggest giving Black Horse pub a miss. There seem to be good reviews for this place, so I thought that it would be a worthwhile venture, that would be a mistake. Their beer has a low alcohol content and their pail ale is simply undrinkable (it was the first time I threw out beer). It may be the best place in town, but that is because it is the only place in town.”

“This is one of Clarksville's hidden treasures. I would have never gone in if it wasn't for the recommendation. The outside is interesting, looks kind of weird, but inside is very nice. You sit around a grill and they cook your food in front of you. They entertain while they cook. They throw stuff around and the whole bit. They have a wide variety of options to order from. Absolutely delicious food! I ordered the chicken. They also offer fresh sushi. I really wish I could go there everyday!”

“To sushi lovers: I have tried every Japanese restaurant in Clarksville in search of decent sushi. Hananoki is the best in town, but don't expect too much. Their fish quality is good for the most part, but it's been hit-or-miss. This is the typical loud, non-personal, "push 'em through as fast as you can" restaurant. I expect to be able to enjoy the atmosphere and take my time when paying for a more expensive meal such as sushi. The waitresses will not let you order directly from the sushi chef because they expect you to tip them for handing the piece of paper to the chef. They also expect you to order everything you want right away so they can bring you your check and get you out of there ASAP. But for Clarksville I guess it's do-able, and it is the best sushi in town. Just know what you're in for if you're used to a quality sushi experience. Hananoki isn't it.”

“We ate here the other night for my birthday and the food was lousy. First, we had used call a head seating. I made a 6:00 reservation for 4. I called at 4:30. They said ok. We arrived 5 minutes early & we still waited an extra 30 minutes. Next, we both got steaks and both were wrong. My husband ordered the prime rib well done, but not burnt. The outside was a little black and burnt and the inside was red/pink. I ordered the outback special (9 oz.). Medium. It was completely black and really burnt on the outside and it was completely done on the inside as well. The portion sizes are pathetic. My husband ordered fries and I bet there were maybe 15 fries on his plate. Not only was that bad, but all 4 of us finished our house salads in 5 bites. I was extremely disappointed. I will not be returning.”

“If you want a real burger, perfect fries, and the world's best bun and cream, you have to try Johnny's. They have a wide selection of food; the waitresses are the friendliest in the entire city. Warning, you will become a regular!”

“Great variety of food, fantastic service, and it's not usually too crowded. Try the hot and sour soup!”

“I love a good greasy spoon. Unfortunately, this Waffle House is NOT a good greasy spoon. I saw two cockroaches in the thirty minutes that I was in the restaurant. The cook was offended when my husband sent back the runny fried egg sandwich that he ordered and told us, "it's such a pain in the butt when people are picky." Sadly, even my toast was stale. The staff vanished the second we received our food, and we were left to fend for ourselves against the roaches. We left before without finishing our meal.”

“The service is very good. The food is hearty, there is plenty of it and it is prepared well. There is a good and varied selection of different items to meet just about any taste. When I have been there have been couples, college students, families and business travelers. I recommend it highly.”

“The Black Horse Pub is great for meeting friends for drinks or a romantic dinner. There is a wide variety of beers and great appetizers (The Beer Dip is my favorite) and they have unusual pizzas and great salads. Servers are friendly and helpful with a laid back atmosphere. Upstairs there is another bar and darts.”

“A disappointing dinner, especially after having read the other review which caused me to go there. Schnitzel is a country-fried pork chop floating in gravy. The restaurant is smoky, even the servers smoke. Cheap (the $10.95 Jager Schnitzel I had was on special for $6.95) but I'm not going back. The beer was cold, however!”

“Bruins may not be much to look at but it makes the best German food in Tennessee. The jagerschnitzel and sauerbraten are great and they have war Steiner beer. What more could you want for a relaxing early dinner. We were not there for the music since we wanted a quiet dinner to visit with marine corps friends. Wouldn't hesitate to go back to bruins with next time we are in Clarksville.”

“My husband and I first frequented safeties in bowling green, key about 20 years ago. We have returned several times in our travel from ill to fl. Tonight were our first time at safeties of Clarksville. It was well orchestrated, organized, "machine" and everyone was efficient and friendly. The food was excellent. We'll be back.”

“We have been going to the Golden Wok for years and it is consistently great! Great service, quiet atmosphere, and very family friendly although there are rarely many children. The lunch buffer is unique sure to please an eclectic crowd. Dinner is delicious and affordable with tons of seafood. All and all not a large buffet but you'll have a hard time beating the flavor and service.”
