• The food is fantastic and really cheap for how much they give you.
• Absolutely nothing.

“I went to a conference right down from the City Cafe and everyone kept telling us to eat there. It was incredible! The Chicken Sandwich I ordered covered the entire plate. After eating a fourth of it, I was full. I order a slice of Red Velvet Cake for later that night, and it was the most delectable creation that has ever entered my mouth! Simply amazing.”

“I love this place! The food is great--so many choices! They are very accommodating to any changes to their menu to suit your tastes. The people who work there are sweet and helpful, and food always gets out quickly, no matter how busy they are. I work nearby and eat here as much as I can!”

• I loved the Indian coffee. The head barista, is so nice.
• The restroom was out of order the day I visited. .

• Freindly, clean and great food!
• The only negative thing that we had was a couple of waitresses talked very low to where you had to ask them what they were saying. More then a couple of times. My husband wears a couple of hearing aids. Which he doesn't hear as well as most people do.

“I recently went to amigo and it was horrible! We waited forever to be seated and finally had to seat ourselves because nobody ever came. When we sat down we were approached by the bartender and a waitress. They immediately started accusing us of not paying our ticket the last time we were there. The waitress said we were regulars and she remembered us but she was not even our waitress the last time. She was telling us where we sat and it was not even right. We were told that we could either pay or leave. They waited until we ordered to bring us the check (that we supposedly didn't pay) so they knew what we ordered. We get the same thing every time we go! I pay with cash every time we go and I know I left it! The cashier remembered us and did not make us pay! However, I will not be returning to this place ever again!”

“Our meal consisted of brisket and Tilapia, "house specialty". The food was warm at best. The Tilapia was tasteless as were the sides on the meal. Very disappointing for a place with such a view. The service was very slow for the number of customers. We will not eat there again.”

• Salsa was good.
• Customer service, food portions, and inconsistency.

“I have given these location 4 chances. They were very inconsistent with their platters, and especially concerning their fajitas, the steak portion was very small. All veggies. And one time they wouldnt charge for extra tortillas and the next time they would. So go figure. I found this to be the same at all locations except for the Red Bank Location, which was well worth the drive. Happy eating.”

• Good solid food, well prepared.
• We were overcharged on the bill.

“Not the best Chinese food I have ever had, but the best I have had in TN. Extensive menu including many vegetarian and vegan options. The food was very good. Portions were on the small side but the prices were reasonable for the size. Since we were hungry, we would have liked noodles or some munchies on the table but all food only comes from the menu. Drinks were large and continually topped. One caveat, check the bill carefully, we were overcharged by several dollars.”

• Too many people puzzling to make a decision and keeping me from the ice cream!

“The best ice cream! Great selection of unique flavors! They let you sample before you buy. Wonderful place on a warm evening. The blackberry ice cream is fantastic and my husband's favorite. Old fashioned real ice cream made in small batches to assure quality. This is a must visit when we are in Chattanooga!”

• Dessert! The selection is overwhelming!
• Not enough selections for vegans, but plenty for vegetarians.

“The food is amazing. The only reason I would rate it a 9 instead of a 10 is the few options available for vegans. But the owner and staff are wonderful and work to accommodate special dietary needs and the food is always outstanding. Try the home made potato chips! Fantastic. The desserts can't be beat. The baklava cheesecake is out of this world! The strawberry patch cake with fresh strawberries is scrumptious. Portions are huge. We often go just for dessert when we are in town.”

• Awesome food, huge portions, great shakes!
• A little noisy, and you might have quite a wait.

“This is a great place to go for fun and a good old cheeseburger! They have great shakes and fountain drinks and the portions are huge! You might have to wait for a table though it's a very small restaurant! And it's kind of noisy, so if you don't like that, don't go. If you're going to get a shake, don't get a half, go ahead and get the full size for a dollar more the half is kind of small the only small thing I've ever gotten there! A lot of fun for kids and a great place to go even if you don't have kids.”

“The food was mediocre and the service was awful! Our waiter looked 14 and had the personality and attitude to match. Our bill was wrong and when asked to correct it he rolled his eyes and huffed off. We had to ask for bread when our food was taking so long and getting drink refills was a chore. The food was pretty good, but the chicken on one meal was a sad portion size for $13 and the nachos were not spicy as the description had suggested and you had to pay $2 extra to get sour cream and nachos, which it did not say. The one at the Hamilton Place Mall is much better.”

“Fantastic food. The menu was incredible. The service was great. I had the grouper special that was recommended, by the owner himself, and it was too amazing for words! The owner walked around and spent about 20 minutes with us through out the meal. I can't wait to go back!”

• Sever was the worst that I have ever seen.

“The restaurant is pricey but very good. I've been there four times and every time the server acted like they had never waited tables before. But the atmosphere and flavor of the food made up for it.”

• Long wait on a Monday night.

“The view is great. The sunset was perfect for a date. I went on Monday and got a dozen raw oysters for $6. They were the best I ever had. They did have seafood on the menu, but the rotisserie chicken was allotted better their expected. I thought chicken was chicken, but this different I like the smoke from the wood they cook it with. The only thing that I thought was odd was the sign about no separate checks on the patio, but I asked the host and she explained how people move around and cause problems which hurts everyone¿s service. I will be back!”

“I couldn't have had a worse restaurant experience. Twice I have been there and it just seems like another tex-mex cliché' with bad management and bad servers. The only reason I said the restaurant is good for business travelers is because if you were starving they give you chips. ”

• Booths are small/ordering system takes a minute to understand.

• Would not go here, there are other better choices for the money.

“Was not a good value for the $41 we paid for 2 entrees - no dessert. It is labeled as a seafood restaurant but no seafood platter! The food is tasteless. Service is poor. Waitress could not get the order correct. Asked for grilled vegetables as a side dish ($3.50 which really should have been part of the entree) and got mushrooms. Fire grilled green beans were cooked too long. My husband had asked for no onions on salad (was also $3.50 extra) and still got onions on salad and in rice! I ordered the Voodoo Chicken with black beans and rice. Chicken was lightly fried it was OK. Husband ordered Tilapia with black beans and rice it was bland. Please do not waste your money! The only good thing about this restaurant was the view of the river on the outside patio which wraps around the back. You can walk or ride your bike along the nice paved trial and get it for free! Most of the major mainstream restaurants are at around Hamilton Place mall I75 exit 5. Do yourself a favor and check them out first. ”

• I do like that it this restaurant is kid friendly but still on the casually elegant side of atmosphere.
• The food is not bad, but it's a little bland. There is no flavor to some of the dishes we tried such as the chicken quesadillas

“The Tortilla Factory is a nice change from the burger joints around. We have enjoyed eating there on a few occasions and always go away full and feeling like the food was worth the money. It can be a little bland, but overall, it's good. The bartender does make a good drink, though.”

“City Cafe' has the most incredible cakes and cheesecakes you have ever seen or tasted in your entire life! For about $5 a slice you will take half of it home in a box. The pieces are enormous and SOOOOO fantastic! The food here is good too, and they have a huge selection, but we usually just go there for dessert. Plus, it's open 24-7!”

• Really loved the Station House. It was fantastic both for food and entertainment.
• My allergies really bothered me in the hotel room. The carpet and or curtains really needed cleaning.

“My husband and I stayed at the Chattanooga Choo Choo just for a weekend getaway and also happened to be my birthday. We ate supper at the Station House Restaurant and just loved their ribs, service and the singing waiters; waitresses. We will definitely go back again. ”
