• Atmosphere (classic diner art deco period), food.
• Closed on Mondays when I was craving those home fries.

“Can't beat the $2 breakfast special - looking forward to trying th $5 BBQ ribs but, so far only had breakfast and that was excellent!”

• Pizza crust, inexpensive, bar, beer, cozy atmosphere.
• Cash only, ATM in bar however.

“Coppa 82 has great food, at a reasonable price. It's a family place. You can get a mixed drink, sit at the bar, or go in back by the take-out counter and get a cozy table. They sell a wide range of beer for take-out. No delivery, but the pizza is really great. The crust is the best I've found in the area by far.”

• Mussels are absolutely the very best.
• Wait staff/very small.

“The mussels are great! They come out in a huge platter covered in a fantastic wine sauce and hard rolls to sop up the broth. Best/cheapest time to go, if you can stand the smoke is happy hour (4-6 pm M-F). Not a place to take the kids or expect a family dinner, but a fantastic place for a date with your special someone.”

• Attentive service from when I arrived to when I left. Much improved food.
• Nothing really.

“The Pasta was great. Pizza is delicious thin crust, good topping choices and very similar to real Northern Italian pizza. Management has improved since I was last there a year or so ago. Previous visit had hostesses with poor appearance and no knowledge. My overall experience was good.”

• At least I got take out.
• Awful management and customer service.

“The bottom line is that the guy was a total jerk and practically yelled at me after I generated more revenue than he would over the next 4 hours. I will never return to the primavera pizza kitchen in Downingtown and would never recommend it to anyone that actually wants a pleasant dining experience. .”

“The smoke gets to me, the salad bar is too small but I keep coming back because the food is great. I now prefer takeout try the gnocchi with the meat sauce or the chicken parm or the pizza you will not be disappointed.”

“Bad. Food was inedible, minestrone soup sour, eggplant pram. Hard, pasta dry. Owner came by and made matters worse. He argued and made my family terribly uncomfortable. I will never come back. Service was in line with the horrible food and owner. As a businessman, I dine in restaurants more than 200 times a year and this was the worst Ive had in years.”

“I mean being from NYC people, I know good Italian food. Coppa 82, while regressing from the fancy, upscale eateries offers wonderful food. I mean it tastes great; the pizza is simply prepared with great sauce and just the right amount of cheese. The sandwiches are great! Problem: Too smoky (I don't care, however others do). Bad area, it is located in the middle of a desolate strip of route 30 in Thorndale, most people dont even know about it. Try it. Its the best by far in that area (Not expensive!).”

• Sometimes you wait for delivery but it always worth the wait.

“If you like thin Crust Pizza than this is the place to go, steaks are great also, small seating area and seems to focus on take out and delivery whish I love because I hate getting in my car to pick up food.”

“Order takers do not speak English; have an extremely hard time comprehending what you are ordering. Rude and request that you repeat your order x5. Several times I have been either given not what I ordered or missed items when I got home. No napkins ever.”

“This is a pizza parlor where it never stops. Very busy. Cater to pick up and deliver orders. No real place to sit and enjoy a meal. Very busy and the staff is courteous! Pizza is good. ”

“Oh Jack. I disagree. The Coppa is not an upscale Italian restaurant, nor are the prices! For $12 bucks, you get a huge portion of delicious, I mean delicious mussels drowning in a great Italian sauce (make sure to dip the Italian bread in the sauce as you go). The restaurant itself is nothing to write home about as far as decor goes, but, once in awhile, I like to go somewhere that's a bit down home and have my favorite cocktail to boot. I'd love to see them get in some better wine selections to compliment their fabulous Italian food. Go there folks! Don't expect a huge bill. Order the mussels!”
