• Down to earth local type bar and grill. Very friendly staff.
• Blue cheese dressing was to thin.

“Stopped in on my way to Apple Valley area. Flapper's is right before the square in Downtown Mt. Vernon. Had the wings with a specialty sauce (reds southern style). Food was hot and fast. Wings were the best I've had in a long time. Blue cheese was a little thin. Will definitely go back.”

• Tender veal and lots of tomato sauce.
• Lots of starchy food, not well seasoned, high fat content.

“Don't get me wrong. This is standard fare for people who want veal and spaghetti, or pizza. I just don't. I like real Italian food, in Italy, but not its American cousin. So I say this is average, and good enough for the price. I would pay more to get better food.”
