“The service was outstanding and the food was wonderful! The only negative thing is that the table behind us was very rude and disrespectful to their server. I felt very bad for her. No one should be treated like that and of course didn't leave her a tip. Apparently that happens a lot to these girls. What a shame, they are all so nice and hard working!”

• Onion rings and the hot meat sauce is the bomb.
• Not really anything.

“The burgers are excellent and the fries are crispy crinkle cut. The onion rings are the best. Most of all don't forget the hot sauce "spicy meat sauce" on your burger/dog.”

“Great food, specials every night. The service is great with wonderful servers who treat you like family. Great place to watch the latest sports. The place gets jumping with fantastic live music on Friday or Saturday night after 10PM.”

• The menu options, when they are not out of them, are very unusual.
• Everything else, from service, customer care, to presentation.

“I dined here recently, and was very disappointed with this restaurant. We were seated and waited for 35 minutes, without apology, in the bar area vs. the restaurant, which made conversation impossible due to extreme noise. Our server was very nice, but every other person we deal with seemed disinterested in service. Several carrot & broccoli rabe orders were replaced with spinach, and the kitchen's explanation was we thought you wouldn't notice. My poultry was served raw, and when I asked to have it cooked, an expediter brought back a small plate with two slices of meat and literally threw it at my place. We never saw a manager or owner to deal with these problems, and received no apology whatsoever.”

“I eat here a lot and they are always friendly and the food has always been good. I like the fact that the owner is usually on-site and has been friendly anytime I eat there. The restaurant is always clean.”

• The owner/manager is psycho!

“Our family went to Mamasan's tonight - and while the food was good enough, we were more shocked by the treatment we received by the owner. Upon entering, we were seated at a table and asked to be seated at an available booth (as there were many available). The greeter had to check with his boss and when she returned, we were told children cannot sit in booths because they make messes. After assuring her that our child would sit on a chair and that I was the one who preferred the booth due to back problems, she relented. But really, having to argue about seating put me off! We ordered 2 soups, 1 chicken satay, 1 beef satay, 1 Thai salad and 1 Thai tea. Grand total for dinner for 3 people: $60 (not including tip). Seemed really spendy for Ramen noodles in broth and a salad. Still, it was all tasty. The hot stuff was hot; the cold stuff was cold. I don't think we'll be back for a while.”

“After I waited about 2 hours, I left. During that time the bar staff ignored me. When I finally got their attention I was treated very rudely. I had been in there on previous occasions and was treated the same. I was disappointed in both the food and the service..”

• Poor management and staff.

“Very long wait with uncomfortable waiting area. Well exceeded maximum people per code. Appears to possibly be in violation of fire code requirements for sprinklers? Dangerous? Not even a free glass of wine. Rude staff. Lied and said they remember when we called earlier in the day and said we never asked about prime rib.”

“Arigato is traditional Japanese food! It has phenomenal food! I always want to go there for dinner! They have good service! Oh and don't worry about not finishing your dinner! If you don't they will wrap it up for you in an origami! Go on your birthday! You get a picture, piece of chocolate, cake and a special song for your special celebration! Last but not least, Arigato rocks!”

“The dark atmosphere is there so that you can not see the food. They ran out of baked potatoes and the worker said to the manager "if one more person asks for a baked potato I'm leaving". She was not rude to me and offered me soup but I was really looking for a baked potato. Steak was thin and fatty with not a lot of taste. I go to Outback now.”

“Great family atmosphere. It seemed like everyone knew each other. Very cozy. Meal was excellent. Fast, quick service. Owner was very friendly. Came over and greeted us and was very helpful in recommending a meal. Everyone seems to be having a good time. Very close knit family-like. Had a great experience there.”

“The food was excellent. The service was disastrous. Waited at least 10 minutes before the server came. Ordered wine, glass of ice on the side and our lunch at the same time. Waited another 10 minutes. The waitress came with the soup said she'd be back shortly with the wine. Five minutes later we had to ask another server for bread. Several minutes later we got our wine (no ice on the side). Ten minutes later our entree came we asked for the ice, again. Then we got the ice (server made a comment about she was having a bad day). The ultimate horror of this lunch was when she chased us out in the parking lot saying we did not pay our bill. The bill was $29 we left $35 in the folder. We told her so after arguing with us we went back into the restaurant and the she found the $35 on the floor at our table said it must have slipped out of the folder. "Hello" has she never picked up one of the money folders with the money in it! Oh my, she was having a bad day! Better training is in order here. It was most embarrassing to have anyone think that we would leave a restaurant without paying. We happen to own a restaurant! This person would not be on the schedule the next day.”

• Pizza taste good fresh, cold, room temp, and reheated.
• Only in Rochester, NY.

“Tony pepperoni is very good. I'm from Michigan and I ate there because it was close to my hotel and they have the best buffalo chicken pizza ever. My family travels through NY often and I always try to convince them to stop in Rochester just to get Tony pepperoni. But we don't due to time but if the decision was up to me I would stop there whenever I can. Now the only thing I associate with Rochester is Tony pepperoni and their buffalo chicken pizza.”

• Great food, friendly, helpful staff, family feel, nice outdoors tables.
• Wine list, update the decor, more outdoor seating if possible.

“Excellent food if you like Mediterranean. The Spanakopita, the Tsatsiki, the Moussaka are to die for. And they make real good coffee too. Very friendly staff. The wine list bears improvement. My husband and I brought family and friends many times to this restaurant and were always very happy we did.”

• Very good food, friendly staff.
• Noise, tables covered with paper, does not respect reservations.

“1. The restaurant is very noisy. 2. Although we had reservations, we had to wait for more than an hour to get our table! And this happened more than once! 3. Also, for a restaurant with these prices they should have cloth coverings for the tables ant not paper. It is a shame that for these reasons we and our friends do not choose 2vine anymore although their food is very good.”

“My husband and I went w/a gift certificate. It wasn't busy and the wait staff were very friendly and helpful w/explaining the menu and offering suggestions. It was a nice unhurried atmosphere and we would recommend this restaurant to someone who wants a cozy quiet meal that is very tasty.”

• Atmosphere, great wine list, affordable and classy.
• Service sometimes indifferent.

“I live in Europe now, but the last year before I moved here, I lived in the park/university area of Rochester, Imho, the most happening place in the city. Cibon was my favorite hangout, being inside, with it's tin ceilings and turn of the century decor made me feel like I was already in Europe. Excellent wine values. The service could be indifferent, but no one was outright rude, depends on who was working there. Loved the place, simply. Go and enjoy it.”

“Ridgeview looks alright from the outside but when you go in, there are a bunch of workers sitting in the back and act like they don't care. The owner is rude and very unfriendly. It's not family friendly because theres a lot of swearing going on; from owner and others. The food is ok but looks very sloppy. The owner wont even get up to take cash. Waitresses handle salads with their bare hands and owner spits in trash can by waitress station.”

“We went there for the food, which was disappointing. The service and atmosphere were okay, but we were open to whatever happened in these areas. The house salad was delicious. For main courses, we had the sienna Wellington, and a salmon special that was prepared with horseradish, haricots vets, and beets. The Wellington was too heavy--beef tasted steamed, duellos not especially tasty, route a little dense, and béarnaise over the top on top of mashed potatoes was too much stuff that didn't compliment other elements. The black forest crème Brule was crispy on the top, but cold at the bottom. The salmon was tasty, but too salty.”

• Atmosphere, good staff who work hard at pleasing the customers.
• Sharing same utensils with those who aren't so clean in appearance.

“Went in several times for happy hour with co workers/friends. We had dinner the food is pretty good except two older people come in Zebbs provides them charity which is nice often these two are pretty smelly, look like they are homeless and chat with other customers. I found that since they were unclean appearance they shouldn't be allowed to touch the happy hour food. Other than that this place is a good place to go.”

“The Winfield recently had a major face lift, especially the bar area. What use to be, in my opinion, a small, "townie" bar and restaurant is now a beautiful, hip hang out for those looking for a pint and great atmosphere.”

“The best pizza in town. You can really see the difference between the big chain pizzerias and tony Pepperoni. Excellent crust, cheese, sauce- fresh veggies. The wings and subs are outstanding as well. I only wish they could open one on the east side of town! The staff is very friendly as well. A must try for business travelers as well as locals.”

• Portion size, you will not leave hungry!
• Eventually you do have to leave!

“If you like to experience hibachi style cooking, this is the place to go. From the moment you walk in the door and see the fish pond they have right inside the restaurant, you know it¿s going to be an interesting and fun dining experience. I have been to several other hibachi grilles in the Rochester region, but none can compete. The dinners are a few $'s less than others. Despite this, the portions are much larger. ”

• The prices were very reasonable. Also, the quantity of food was worth the money.
• The rice was under cooked and soggy. The chicken was not crunchy, just chewy.

“I ordered food for lunch for about 4-5 people and picked it up. The lunch prices were very good, however I felt the food was not. The opinion varied among the others but was not what I had expected.”

• Just about everything.
• My boyfriend's chicken exohike was overcooked and dry on one occasion. It's the one dish I¿ve not had luck with there.

“I have been to the restaurant over the past several years with my parents, friends, each of my boyfriends that have come and gone, and their parents also. They've stayed open 20 minutes past closing so that my family and I could have dinner. I love this place; I can come back after 6 months away and the people there still remember me. The food is excellent, the people friendly, the menu creative. The atmosphere is romantic, exotic, family friendly too. It may not be exactly cheap, but it's every bit worth the price. I recommend the grape leaves, the spanakopita, the moussaka and the baklava ice cream. Try the combination platter to start with.”

• Large menu, large parking lot.
• Bad wait staff.

“A reservation here means nothing - we were motioned to the bar by a very rude hostess named patty and sat with our drinks for over a half hour. They weren't even busy. We started our meal with cold, salty soup and when we finally got our coffee, had no cream. We didn't see our waitress again until she brought our check and when we said something, she snapped back at us, complaining about the other staff. ”

• Best pizza you will eat within 400 miles. Gives Patsy's in NYC a run for their money.
• There is no negative!

“This is the pizza you remember tasting when you were a kid that nobody makes anymore. No phony sweetened sauce; no greasy bread crust; no drenched in cheese to cover other shortcomings. Crust is perfectly crispy and slightly salty. you will eat the rinds -it's that good! Has the powdery bottom just like it should. Sauce is simple oregano-seasoned and they put enough on to give it kick. Toppings are top-notch: pepperoni is spicy and stands out. Sausage is REAL ground sausage with the correct fennel bite -no frozen ready made "sausage balls" like other chains now use. Onions are deli-sliced and stringy, not chopped. Mushrooms are fresh not canned. Cheese is particularly good and doesn't overpower everything else. Now if they will only open one near me so I don't have to drive 15 miles! The official pizza.”
