“I agree with the other reviews, the bartenders and other staff is not only unfriendly, but often down right rude. The food is nothing to brag about and the service is slow.”

• Food was on par with the rest of the nation.
• Its in Montana.

“After eating at a few of the other establishments in Missoula and Bozeman I can say that this restaurant is not on the same level as other Montana style fine dining. It actually has food that I want to eat. The flavors are simple and pleasing; the service is casual and not overbearing.”

• The owner, prices, local crowd atmosphere.
• Crowd gets rough when drinking too much.

“It's a regular local tavern, heavily patronized by locals, and very few others. It's a typical dark, rustic, crowed tavern. Great selection of standard beers and a few local ones, cheap mixed drinks, and a vendor operated kitchen with cheap but edible basic food. The best thing going is the full house of local patrons that always provide lots of laughter and, if you can break in on the guy next to you or a close by table, they sometimes even strike up a conversation with out-of-towner's. Better wear your work clothes or you may not get anyone to talk with you. Owner is a great guy that will even buy you a drink after he sees you a few times.”

• When busy parking is tough.

“This place has AWESOME sandwiches. Its a locally owened gas station/sandwich shop, its a great place to stop by if you're on your way out of town. Try the Philly”

“The Red Bird is hands down the best fine dining in the entire state of Montana. It is not fast food/stand as this travel guide says. It is chill/romantic fine dining with incredible service and no snobbiness. They also have one of the best selections of wine and foreign beers. Their new wine bar is something else. A must see if you've never been.”

• We got a good parking spot.
• Everything.

“I was not impressed with the Iron Horse at all it took forever to get waited on and the food was not worth the wait. In addition the bartender was very rude to us.”

• Pumpkin soup and wonderful, tasty salads, you can eat outside.
• Very cold at times, pumpkin soup is off the menu.

“The first time I went there it was in the fall, and the best soup I have ever had was their pumpkin soup. My husband and I fell in love w/it! We went back awhile after that to share the experience with our six children but to our dismay they weren't serving it. I had asked for the recipe but they denied that request. I heard a rumor that they weren't serving it anymore. How sad is that? I've been there on occasion for lunch and enjoyed their delicious salads! It was very cold in there though. So my review is a mixed feeling. I hope by this message Arrobas will take to heart the customers who would love to have pumpkins soup back on the menu even though it's a seasonal one. All the more to look forward to it as a family tradition. But the service was great and it's in a great location in the Southgate mall.”

“One of the greatest fast food restaurants of all time! I go out of my way to eat at Hoagie Ville whenever Im in the area! I wish they would open about 10 more stores in my area so I can always have it! Great food, great atmosphere. Thanks Hoagie Ville!”

• TV¿s were easy to see.
• They have a kids menu, but it is a younger crowd, so watch where you sit.

“I should just keep this a secret, because I was told by a local to go try it out. Great food, good beer, hard to get a seat.”

• Service and the quality of the food.
• Crowded but, for GOOD reason.

“My wife and I enjoyed a FANTASTIC meal at The Depot on our 44th. Wedding Anniversary in late September, 2006. This is one of few true five star restaurants in Missoula and I strongly recommend it to anyone interested in a superb meal with outstanding service. Note that our evaluation was based upon a meal we had there on a VERY busy night before a home football game. Despite a "full house" (we had made advance reservations), the service was wonderful and our meals - Chilean Sea Bass and grilled Scallops were both outstanding! This was NOT our first meal at the Depot and, Good Lord willing, it won't be our last!”

• Same as any Perkins. A bit boring.
