“Fresh and delicious Bagels and Muffins. The Coffee is topnotch also. I just wish they had a more inviting atmosphere. The seating is hard and cold. They need some cloth and warmth.”

“A fantastic, good Ole, family place to eat. Down home food and the pies are the best! This is one of my favorite places to eat in Lincoln.”

“The pizza is simply amazing. Really it is just so good and I have had pizza all over the world. I would very highly suggest this establishment to anyone who is looking for east coast style (thin crust) pizza that is sublime. The decor is also very cool (art deco/urbanesque). The beer selection is nice if you enjoy beer and the wine is ok. Go, you'll be happy with your choice.”

“My husband and I loved Lonestar! We go there for all of our special occasions! Birthdays, anniversaries, etc! We love the cheese fries and the steaks are wonderful! And when we go on vacation, we try to find a Lonestar to eat at!”

“Great for a quick lunch. Not very crowded during lunch, however dinners get quite frantic. Very good spot to go.”

“We just had a drink and were considering having dinner, but when I went into the bathroom on the first floor, the smell of urine was so strong that I felt sick to my stomach and had to leave. All they have to do is scrub the bathroom floor and then it might be a nice place to stay and eat!”

“The Pizza is bomb! I would advise anyone to try the "Atlantic pizza"; its so good!”

“Upscale- country style. Big hunks of steaks and BBQ but still a number of women friendly dishes. Great service. My favorite restaurant in Lincoln.”

“Best Steaks in Town and not over priced like the old- moldy places that try to re image as a brew pub. Awesome BBQ and a full menu of great dishes. Great selection of wines and full bar. Not full of Beemer driving loafer wearers. Real food, real service, for real people!”

“I used to work for doozies and make the bread every morning when it was located at 70th and vine the best 2 years of my life!”

“The food is usually fantastic. Excellent taste, authentic and interesting dishes and elegant presentation. The atmosphere is pleasant, laid-back, and very comfortable. The service is absolutely horrid. The wait staff is generally friendly, but so inattentive and absent that it borders on rudeness. While the food is excellent, be prepared to wait at least an hour and have no expectations of your meal arriving at the same time as your dining companions. The chef/owner seems to be extremely knowledgeable about the cuisine, but he could do much better if he'd hire a kitchen manager to make sure orders are completely correctly and on time, supervise the rather vapid staff. Seriously, they float around and ignore the customers, and let him concentrate on the preparation. This could be one of the best restaurants in town, but unacceptably poor service ruins the dining experience every time.”

“Alas, since Wasbi moved out of college area of town and I was hoping for better quality and better taste. Too bad.”

“We thought the breakfast was good. The wait was a little long. But it was better than the chains for breakfast.”

“We have been to Vincenzo's numerous times. Every time we try something different, and every time we are pleased. The salmon Vincenzo is particularly good, and the crab-spread Bruchetta is to die for. The desert selection is not wide, but we almost never have room for desert anyway.”

“A break from the ever-present chain restaurants. Good breakfast - their quiche is the best in town by far, also does a fine job with lunch and dinner. The wine-tasting dinners are especially nice. Pricey, but well worth it. Service is always good, although when they hit the Saturday morning breakfast rush they can get a little bogged down, but they work hard so that you don't have to wait long. Their salads are a delight, and the beef Monterey is a favorite for lunch. ”

“Whenever I am in town to visit family in Lincoln, I insist on heading right to Stauffers. Not only can I get a tasty, affordable meal, but the pie is honestly worth dying for. If you are worried about not having enough room for dessert, then skip the dinner and order pie first. You don't want to take any chances. Trust me, with as many choices that are offered daily, you won't be disappointed.”
