• Some of the food was excellent. Some wasn't.
• Cigarette smoke is nasty.

“I probably won't be returning to your restaurant. I have severe allergies and hesitated to go out to dinner because of that. To my dismay, shortly after the meal someone near me lit up a cigarette. I do not appreciate that when my meal cost me $10 just like that persons did and I'm the one that left having an asthma attack and wishing I had stayed home. Wake up! Get rid of the smoke before the law forces you too.”

• The food!

“I don't consider myself a picky eater by any standard, but I threw this meal away after 5 bites. I can eat most anything, but this was too bad.”

• Food, the people, the price.
• Needs to be a tad bigger for walking room.

“This place is the Best Dinner style eating place in Cole county! They are always full, always busy and always friendly. A must stop place to eat, you won't be sorry!”

• This is a true Irish Pub where the patrons become family when they walk through the door.
• The pub is small and you may have to wait to find a seat.

“Food is excellent. The mushrooms are to die for and the hamburgers could feed two people. This bar has ten different types of beer on tap including hard cider if you like a sweeter drink.”

• Food was authentic.
• Pricey / slow wait staff.

“Does it ever dawn on wait staff that there's the concept of a lunch hour? So please, let's pick up the pace. Service was slow enough (18th July '07) that we didn't have time for dessert with what remained of our available lunch hour.”

• Super service, super food.
• Nothing.

“I had to plan a conference in JC, and the guys at the Sub Shop were incredible. I called ahead, though. If you have a large order (we had 15 subs!) You can't call 1/2 hour before you want them and expect them to be able to deliver. I called the day before and the food was delivered exactly on time, the subs were hot and delicious. I would recommend them to anyone. Super service and food. We didn't go into the restaurant so I can't speak to its quality but my guess would be high quality.”
