“It was the worst food I've had in Rochester. If you want Italian, go to Victoria's. The food was dry and flavorless.”

• Taste, price, and service.
• Drive through only.

“Snappy Stop is a drive through burger establishment. Excellent California style burgers, fries with skins, good prices and very quick service. Being that it's drive through, it's take home food or eat in the car in the winter but for spring, summer and fall, the restaurant on Broadway is right across from the park which has picnic tables. We get our meals at Snappy Stop almost every time we visit Rochester.”

• The waitress was mostly pleasant.
• Dirty.

“I recently went to this restaurant, the servers were fine but those in charge were not helpful or very pleasant. The food decent but not for the price. My glass was also dirty and the entire establishment seemed to have a dirty feel. I would never recommend anyone to eat there.”

“Had an apple pannekoeken with ice cream today and it was nothing spectacular; tasted just like French toast except way more expensive. The server was nice but very slow and needed to be constantly reminded to bring something. I have heard numerous times that the owner is a jerk and I witnessed that when he came in while we were eating. It was extremely over priced and not worth the money or time. I will never go back!”

• Inside and outside.
• Poor kitchen staff.

“Went to Chardonnay for my birthday expecting them to live up to the hype. Being a chef I know what is acceptable and not (especially on a slow Tuesday). 1. $17 foie grass burnt side down. 2. Baseball games on the radio in kitchen so loud you can hear it in the dining room. 3. Dry salads that don't even glisten. 4. Soupy salads that you need a spoon to eat. 5. Beer served in a wine glass. Cant complain about the slow service though, the waiter was pretty cool. Great concepts bad cooks!”

• Great ethnic foods I had never had before.
• Outside eating area was filthy and smelled like a garbage can. Cigarette butts, spit, stain, etc all over the sidewalk and tables.

“The different Pannekoekens were all delicious. We tried about 5 different ones and they were all good. My wife especially liked the triple berry. I liked the one with the mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, etc. The traditional apple with a couple of scoops of ice cream on top was also pretty good. We'll be going back up there in 2 months and I look forward to eating there again.”

• Waitress was really friendly, helpful and patient.
• Wooden booths very uncomfortable.

• The food is excellent, great portion sizes!
• Our waiter wasnt the friendliest or most attentive, but he was ok.

“The food is excellent! My mom and I dined there and had a great time! Very big portions. Kind of expensive but for the amount of food you get it's worth the money! My mom and I split our meal and each of us walked away full. I would highly recommend it!”

• Flavorful, beautifully presented meals.
• Crowded seating, although a minor issue.

“In nine years of making frequent trips to the Mayo Clinic this has become our favorite place to dine. We love the food, the atmosphere, and the live music. Broad street is just a short walk from most downtown hotels so there is no need to move the car once we've settled in- a plus.”

• Too much food, cheap atmosphere. These people have never seen Italy.

“We are from a big city with real authenticity. this place is horrible. they just slop the food onto a colored plate and slap it in front of you. no time is spent on presentation. our server was wonderful and belongs somewhere better. the paintings were a nice try but way overdone. what a pit. I heard a manager screaming and swearing at our server. it was very uncomfortable and unprofessional.”

“Pizza was great. Service was wonderful. Very family oriented. All of the family works there. Definitely a place you need to try. But the address listed on this site is an old one. They have moved to a new location. Not sure of the actual address but its in the Crossroads shopping mall.”
