Serving Spoon

• Absolutely nothing (may be the view).
• Everything.

“The serving spoon is a joke. Just moved to the area from the west coast, a place where a family can go and have a decent meal without being subjected to morons the caliber of those employed by the serving spoon and I'm totally disturbed at how poor the level of service is at this particular restaurant.”

• This list is way too long for 20 words.

“The serving spoon should be avoided at all costs. Trust me, you've never been in a more poorly run place than this. The service is simply horrible and the food isn't great. There isn't one friendly person on the whole staff here. The coffee is terrible, the fruit they serve is wilted and nasty. The sandwiches are soggy and again, the staff is comprised of a bunch of folks who couldn't find work at Arby's, a place I'd frequent before the serving spoon.”

• It's close to the water.
• Everything about the place as soon as you step through the door.

“Worst service in town. If you like waiting 10 minutes between sitting down and your server saying hello, this is the place for you. Staff is not only incompetent but unfriendly. Food is marginal at best (soggy sandwiches) and the coffee is scraped off the bottom of Lake Michigan.”

• I liked the variety of the menu and the food is really good.
• A little hard to find.

“My family and I go to schooners every time we are in town. The atmosphere is very nice, the people are friendly, food is great and so are the drink prices. They have a very extensive menu, something for everyone. Happy hours, $1 bloody maries on Sundays (and 11 TVs to watch football) $2 margaritas on Mexican Tuesday, a different food and drink special each day of the week. We find it a very relaxing way to spend part of our vacation at schooners.”
