“Maxie's is a great place for lunch, dinner, or to hang out after hours for a few drinks. I have always had great service here. They have within the last year done some remodeling and are now under new management with new staff. Maxie's is now a great place for the adult crowd. Live entertainment on Fridays and Saturdays, and free comedy shows on Sundays, and a separate enclosed Karaoke bar open 7 days a week. I love this place!”

“I have tried the Owosso restaurant several times. I was pleased with the food and the price The food depended on who was cooking that day. We found that the girls appeared to be victims of bad management treatment or had a bad attitude towards men. Either way they seemed to be carrying a big chip on all of their shoulders every time we stopped in there. It was very unpleasant to say the least. For the most part we really liked their food but the atmosphere was very unfriendly. They hide out in the back between customers.”

“My husband and I moved just down the street from maries about 2 years ago and we love it. Their specialty is American style Italian and it is great. They rely on pizza ovens so everything comes out to you hot and crisp. It's not the place to go if you are watching your figure because almost everything comes with a healthy does of melted cheese. My favorite is the chicken parmesan which is basically breaded chicken fingers baked in a lasagna dish with tomato sauce and lots of cheese. You can get a side of spaghetti if you like, but you don't have to since it's not your traditional chick pram. My husband likes their baked cod. We both love their pizza. I would shy away from the mushrooms though as they are not fresh, they come out of a can. Highly recommended!”

“I have been a regular customer of Mario's since I moved here with my folks in 1980, My cousin Joe first brought me here, since then it has become a tradition to go to Mario's for Italian, I grew up loving their pizza and spaghetti, it's the best served in all Flint, my wife loves their lasagna and chicken nachos, both are about even in her eyes, and my children love everything they have had from the restaurant, my mother always gives us static if we do not bring her something when we go out, I have ate here as a simple customer, as a date, and even as a member of a local championship football team, and now I pass that tradition on to my children, may Mario's last well into their lives, and their children's lives as well.”
