“The Eden Restaurant is wonderful, I have been going there for lunch for over 15 years, and I have never had a bad experience. They are family run and operated, and you get a large helping of very good food for the price. I am not sure if the food is true authentic Vietnamese, but it is really good. As others have noted they are only open Monday-Friday for lunch, they take cash or checks only. The menu rotates, but everyday they have their signature dish of Spicy Chicken. It is cafeteria style, and the atmosphere is nothing fancy, but the food is great and the service is wonderful (go there a few times and the staff will know you by name).”

• Good quality and tasty food.
• If your looking for ambiance - its not romantic.

“Small restaurant but food is good. Lunch Buffet reasonable selection of dishes but nothing like these new big fancy Chinese restaurants, however, the dishes are generally better than the big buffets. On Thursdays they have the best Mongolian dish on the buffet. A very good friend of mine like to go there for dinner because he says the have the best orange peel chicken (he is very pick about his Chinese so I would make that a very good compliment).”

• Sweet and sour chicken, service, quality of food, egg rolls!
• Atmosphere, not enough items on buffet.

“Lucky inn is a delightful Chinese restaurant. The servers are great. They take great pride in providing a friendly dining experience. The food is reasonably priced and quite delicious. This tiny restaurant serves up the best Chinese food in the twin cities. The buffet is small, but the food on the buffet is great. Try it! I think you'll like it.”

• I love sitting there doing nothing for 25 minutes!

“I called in an order for lasagna and they said I could pick it up in 20-25 minutes. I arrived 25 minutes later. They were still putting the lasagna together in the pans, and then they had to bake it. 25 minutes later they gave me the lasagna, I had to sit there cooling my heels for 25 minutes because someone had forgotten the order for 25 minutes! 50 minutes total for some lasagna! I went home with 3 orders, 1 was over cooked & 1 was under cooked. If the kids were supervised by an adult maybe they would pay attention to their jobs instead of talking to each other. I live 1.5 miles from detello's and I will really have to think about it before I go back!”

• *Consistently* great food. Generous portions too.
• No hot tea or coffee served. No deserts.

“In my 10+ years of patronizing this restaurant, I have *never* had a bad meal. The food quality is consistently great, and the portions very generous. Located in a tucked away corner of an industrial "strip" type mall, it's a little hard to find, but a great place to go for lunch if you like Vietnamese. People rave about their curry chicken dish, but I like the shrimp stir fry (always served on Fridays). The menu varies from day to day, but for a given day, you can always count on the same menu. Very predictable, just like the quality of the food. The ambiance is nothing special, but the food makes up for it. Take-out is available. I believe they are only open for lunch. Semi-buffet style, with about 3-4 choices for main dish.”

“Very good place however bring cash as they do not take credit cards. they have a very good lunch which is a good price and - being cafeteria style - is ready for you right away.”

• The southern experience.
• The lack of the northern type smoke (IE: Apple wood, or Fruitwood)

“We catered food in 2005 & everyone loved the pulled pork & BEEF BRISKET. The sides are very oh so southern and delicious. I have also dined there with my co-workers and the food has always been excellent.”
