• The service was great.
• Need to have separate checks!

“I was here on Friday 12-5-08 with a party of five. The food and the service were excellent. Our waitress was GREAT. Couldn't finish all of the food. The ribs were outstanding. Only one problem, when it came to the check. We asked for 3 separate checks. And they couldn't do it for some reason. 2 couples paid with charge cards and one person paid with cash. I think it would great to offer separate checks. I am 64 and have been eating at restaurants for many years. And most of the restaurants I go to, offer this service. Thanks.”

• No busy and can understand why.
• Everything.

“Just returned from having lunch at Kerby's Coney Island on Telegraph just south of the Holiday Inn in Southfield, Michigan. What a letdown. Have heard so much good input about Kerby's that I thought we should try it. Walked in (3 of us) about 4 pm on Fathers Day (today). There were 4 or five tables piled with dirty dishes and food just on our path to our table in non smoking. There were more tables in the restaurant in the same condition. We ordered and ate. Fries were held to hairdryer for a minute before putting on plate I believe. Dishes and food were still on tables when we left about 45 minutes later. There were 4 waitresses in area 3 OF which were seated at the counter and never left it. There were also dead flies on window sill at our booth. I asked Manager (he was taking money when not smoking in smoking area) if the busboys were on vacation. He just gave a blank stare. Needless to say we wont be stopping there again. Hope the others are better.”

• The food was exquisite as was the service.
• Parking is a bit difficult in this area.

“Chef Shane Coffey prepared a tasting menu that was absolutely divine, form start to finish. Each dish was familiar yet there was always some element of surprise that rewarded my mouth with pleasure. There was a Kale salad that was like eating candy. There was a cauliflower soup that combined subtle savory flavor with a big punch from a carefully placed roasted tomato. The Guinness Goodness dessert was deceptively indulgent, a chocolate lovers dream with a hint of the Irish Guinness. Fabulous.”
