• Delivery was professional and friendly.
• The food is awful.

“I had food delivered. Delivery man was fast and friendly but food was not good at all. I ordered Broccoli in hot Garlic Sauce, steamed Vegetable Dumplings, and Shrimp in Garlic Sauce. The Broccoli was quite overcooked and brownish, the Shrimp did not taste fresh, the Vegetable Dumplings and dipping Sauce were average, and the Sauces were all much too sweet. I would not order from this restaurant in the future.”

“Definitely some of the best Tex Mex food that I have ever had. The chicken and beef fajitas were excellent, and the fajitas bread you could eat that alone and love it! Good drinks, friendly atmosphere.”

“I loved their pizza, Parmesan cheese, onion rings and fried chicken wings with a side of BBQ sauce. Do me a favor if you think I'm lying. next time you are there open the Parmesan cheese lid and smell it. 90% of the time it smells moldy and you can sometimes see the mold. There is a better place and its not too far down the road from The Corner Pub. Half priced pizza on Mondays and Tuesdays (with a drink purchase for all guests), Half priced burgers on Wednesdays. A little further drive, not being able to get 1/2 price pizza on Thursdays, drinking bad wine, not having to argue with an owner on a weekly basis is worth my time and health.”

• Awesome pizza, cold beer.
• Nothing!

“The beers were cold and tasty and every bite of the pizza was eaten and enjoyed. While there are definitely more TV's and other accessories than when I was a kid, the place is still happily recognizable as the original corner pub that I remember. I will return there every chance I get when business or pleasure takes me back to Maryland.”

• Food, excessive heat, had fans throughout restaurant.

“Cubans WAS one of my favorites restaurants...until yesterday - sent the pseudo-Sangria back - had fruit cocktail and horrible cheap red wine. Food used to be impressive - would consider everything bland. Actually asked hostess if chef was changed because it was that bad - I believe the restaurant has very high turnover and ergo why it has gone downhill in the past year.”

• Fairly fast, friendly service; plenty of comfortable seating.
• Food sometimes harks a bit too much of the steam table or reheatery.

“Average in all respects. Portions are generous for most dishes, but average in culinary quality. Service is reasonably fast and polite, but again, simply average for this type of eatery. Plenty of comfortable seating, and reasonably friendly service and management. Very limited menu for vegetarian/vegan preferences, especially for a Chinese restaurant. But if you have to eat near White Oak, this isn't a bad choice.”

• Other than the owner the wait staff is very friendly.
• The owner is unwilling to admit he made a mistake.

“While the food and servers are great, the owner leaves much to be desired. Our team went out for dinner tonight after the game. We were told that we would have to wait a little, as our group was too large. I myself had two children with me so I went inside to try to order so that I could get the kids home at a decent hour. When I went inside, a waiter said, he could split our group into a table of five and a table of seven. I approached the rest of our team with the idea and they all agreed as the table we were told would be leaving soon was taking their time, as was their right. When the table I ordered at ordered our food, I was at first going to have my own check as had I and two children to order for. The waiter, who turns out to be the owner, asked us if it was ok if he put us on the same check to make it easier for him. Our table agreed to have our check together. In turn, when I asked for the check to pay for our table, it turns out that he put both tables on the same check. When I approached him to have this corrected, he argued that when he first asked us to put us on the same check, he specifically stated the whole group, which was in fact not what he stated and when the three adults at my table tried to get clarification he just argued and said it was to late to separate the checks as he did not know who ordered what. I questioned the price of the pizzas as it was half price pizza night and he stated that if only the first pizza is half price and all other pizzas are full price and was very arrogant as he pointed to print in the menu stating such. We did not understand as our table, which did not socialize at all with the other table during our dinner experience, only ordered one pizza 30 wings and 4 soft drinks. He then stated that he would have not allowed our group to be split up (although our group would have crossed the street and went to McDonalds before we waited an hour for service) because he is the owner (stated in a higher than thou manner) and that in turn we would have all been on the same ticket and then continued his argument that we agreed in the beginning to be on the same check. Due to the in ability of this establishment to work with the customer, I and many of my teammates will not frequent this establishment again, as if there is a problem the owner, not the paying customer, is always right.”

• The food is outstanding, The owner Sergio and his son Luigi are gracious hosts.
• Atmosphere is not too romantic.

“Sergio's is an outstanding Italian restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. Sergio is an old world host who will personally see to your needs. It is not uncommon for Sergio to throw his arms around my wife and I and escort us to our table while singing in Italian. The prices are astoundingly reasonable for such fine fare. I have friends who stay in the Silver Spring Hilton just to be able to avail themselves of the fine meals to be had at Sergio's. Sergio and his son Luigi, are most accommodating and I have highly recommended them to all my friends and acquaintances and all have been impressed and pleasantly surprised. Thank you Sergio and Luigi”

• The best seafood pasta I've ever had.
• I am jealous of their wine cellar.

“This restaurant was highly recommended from the Hilton Hotel in Silver Spring. I have been to many establishments in my life, I can say that Mrs. K's was one of my finest restaurants so far. I had the Seafood Champagne pasta it was superb. My wife had the Soft Shell Crabs with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was delicious. I was amazed with the wine list, great selection and they also have Paul Hobbs Chardonnay my favorite wine. Our waitress Jessica was excellent, she also gave us a tour of the place. Just wonderful, we can't wait to visit Mrs. K's again.”

• They are all willing to serve, and professional.
• Food off the chef's recommendations not all worth it.

“I was there when the power went out, best! They put candles out for us. But they couldn't operate the kitchen for new orders. Their thing is they were #4 in some use today nation wide Chinese restaurant survey. Their soups are divine. Empress chicken excellent too. Most food is incredible. Stay on the chef's recommendations. Everything else is so . But $2 for a bowl of soup is not bad, when its the best soup I've ever had. ”
