“My family surprised me for my 75th birthday by taking me to dinner at Union Hotel Restaurant. They could not have picked a better place to go. None of us had been there before, but Untion Hotel had been recommended by neighbors of my daughter. The food was excellent- it was the best!!! Our waitress was wonderful and a lot fun. The owner was very friendly and chatted with us. Dessert was superb. Prices are fair. Try it; they have some very good and unusual items on their menu. I highly recommend it for any occasion. We all can't wait to go back again.”

• I appreciated the history of the hotel printed in the menu.
• The bees outside did not bother us, but they had our attention.

“Friends of ours who had been here before drove us approximately 100 miles to eat here. It was well worth the trip! The building although renovated, maintains the original ambiance of the old hotel. How many times do you get to eat in an old, restored log building? The food was excellent and they had a "light fare" section on the dinner menu. A truly neat dining experience!”
