• Relaxed, informal atmosphere and friendly waitresses, and books to read.
• Food, other than crabs, is decent but not remarkable.

“Steamed Crabs are the specialty at this laid-back, comfy bar-diner. the BLT is also stellar! The waitresses were friendly and remembered us on our second trip and thereafter. there is a bar, a room with cozy booths and a sunny room with tables. The waitresses keep a bucket of crayons for the kiddies and there was a simple kids menu. They also have a selection of paperback books for bookworms to browse through.”

• Food, other than crabs. Decent but not remarkable.

“We've lived in Odenton for a little over a year now and this is one of our favorite restaurants. The atmosphere was cozy and laid back and they have a book selection if you like to read. There is a great biker bar in one room, a second room of cozy dark booths and a third sunny spacious room with lots of tables. The fresh-steamed crabs here are great, also the crab cakes (though they are not lump cakes)! The prices are very reasonable for seafood these days. The waitresses was very friendly, though sometimes the service can be a bit slow. But the waitress will greet you like an old friend by your second visit. If you like a laid-back crab shack, this is the place!”

“Sals was great until their one Italian employee left. Everything went downhill from there. If it is called Sals JUST pizza, why do they sell sandwiches and wings. No wonder they went out of business.”
