“While the food and service is always wonderful, the management is not. She has been rude to me not once, but on several occasions. It is enough to make me not go there ever again because of her poor attitude.”

“I understand the Red Horse has closed & if so that is a great tragedy! Wife & I often drive 75 minutes just to eat there. House salad dressing was great, good buns, splendid steaks, as fine as they come!”

“Great food, good show. Our waitress ed, I think she got lost because she never took any used dishes or refilled any drinks. We froze when they turned off the exhaust fan for the grill and waited forever on our bill. You would think @ thirty dollars a plate you have decent service.”

• Long wait for food, poor service, and limited menu choices.

• Nice bar architecture. Thats it.
• Food quality, service, management, inconsistent quality all around.

“As a resident of Hagerstown, I have visited this restaurant numerous times. When it first opened, it was fabulous. Over the years, the quality of the food and declined, as has the service and management. The chef changes monthly, even weekly, so does the quality of the food. Service is hired for looks, not personality or experience. Management is cold and unfriendly. Just not worth the cost.”

• The deck is open and you have a view of the creek, as long as the bamboo isn't in bloom.
• Fired food, dark interior, no beer on draft, no top shelf liquor.

• The "extra live protein" crawling across our tabletop.

“I and a colleague decided to order breakfast here one morning. Everything was going relatively well until a frisky and rather large cockroach decides to climb out from under the "syrup" canisters. It performed a rather shocking, yet graceful little waltz across our table. Needless to say, our appetites went under the table, right along with our furry little insect pal. We notified our waiter. He chased the cockroach as it decided in its escape attempt, to yet again, run right across the top of our table. To the entertainment of the table along side of ours, he managed to "trap and squish" the cockroach in my table napkin. I had breakfast and a show" who could ask for more?”

• Great food overall.
• Just ask questions about the dish you're thinking of ordering to be certain it's what you're expecting.

“The food is quite good, just be certain you are familiar with the dish you are ordering, if not, ask your waiter some questions, because the food is very authentically Chinese. I mistakenly ordered an unfamiliar dish, without first asking about what type of sauce was used for it, and although the shrimp was delicious, the sauce ("lobster") had a texture that I just couldn't get adjusted to. The shrimp tempura is delicious, and the soups are terrific. The egg rolls are wonderfully fresh as well. The staff is very friendly.”

• The pizza was sub standard.

“We ordered pizza and it was absolutely the worst pizza we've ever eaten! A frozen, store bought pizza would've been cheaper & tastier!”
