“We always enjoyed eating at The Well wood. In fact we had a little celebration dinner there when our son was married. However, this past Wednesday, September 24th was very disappointing to say the least. We went for a late lunch to try their crab legs. We were stunned when the plates came to us. We were supposed to get 1lb. We both received one cluster and the cluster was extremely tiny. A crab leg was no longer than 5 inches if that. We were left hungry. We went to Woody's the next day as we felt kind of japed at the Well wood. I asked how much we receive and they said 11/2 lbs. We were always satisfied at Woodsy.”

“I rode my gold wing there on 11/04/07 with some friends one of whom had been there before. He recommended the fried oyster sandwich. Let me tell you. Those were some of the best fried oysters Ive ever had! I never made it to the "sandwich" part. That was one huge mount of lightly battered oysters! I also ordered the crab dip appetizer. Very "cream cheesy" (which is how I like it). Two of the guys had the Reuben sandwich. One couple split the cheese steak sub. One other guy had the barbecue burger (I believe that's what it was called). Everyone enjoyed their lunches tremendously. Big portions at reasonable prices. The waitress was very friendly and service fairly quick. Of course, we were about the only ones there at lunch time on an overcast 55 degree fall day. Apparently the folks at the market street cafe take their shuffle board very seriously. The waitress told us that people came in from other states to play shuffle board there. They had two large (cloth covered) shuffle board. Boards pushed up against the outside wall of the bar area where we had our lunch. They have a dining room in the front of the building that didn't seem to be being used while we were there (we entered the cafe through the bar door on the side). They have a small convenience store tucked underneath the restaurant with an ATM. The inventory reminded me of what you'd find in a marina. Suitable since they're a stone's through from the water. My best recommendation I added the market street cafe to my GPS. I'll be back and Ill bring friends!”

“I went there last night on half price burger night (Wednesday). It was the best burgers I have had in I don't know how long. It is a cute little place. The burger is 100% beef and made fresh. 100 times better than any chain restaurant. It would be more than worth it even when not on half price night.”

“The restaurant is in a historic part of town, the inside is dark but man oh man is the food worth the trip. The staff is down home and friendly and aim to please. On Wednesday nights it's half price burger nights and what a deal that is. Great for larger familys wallets. The food is just wonderful, a must try!”
