“POSITIVES: Nice location. Plenty of parking if you have coins. Nice decorations. Big portions. NEGATIVES: Waiter is very uptight. Entrees and main courses - pasta felt like boxed one; fish felt like frozen one cooked. Will I go there again - probably not, since there are plenty of Italian restaurants who use fresh products that taste better.”

“Bad service and stuck up management. It is a shame as the food is sort of ok. The bartenders seem to just help their friends and not the customers!”

“I ordered from Moongate while staying at a hotel close by. My order was delivered quickly (10 15 minutes?) And they even packed a bag with ice to wrap around the container with the ice cream in it. I ordered 2 entries; generals chicken and chicken with mixed vegetables. Both servings were huge, more than enough for 1 person for a meal. The food was very good! The chicken and vegetables was chocked full of a variety of vegetables (at least 6 different veggies). The seafood Rangoon was bulging with actual seafood (shrimp/crab), not those "100% cream cheese + some crab flakes" Rangoon. No cream cheese here, just lots of seafood. You could tell the food was extremely fresh and made with care by someone who knew what they were doing. It was a bit on the pricey side, but definitely one of the best Chinese places I have had the pleasure of ordering from.”

“Great food! We live right across the street and get their food delivered regularly. In my opinion, it is among the best Chinese food in the area. Huge portions! Delivery is very quick, we always joke that as soon as we hang up the phone from placing our order, they are at our door with our food (even though they say it will be 45 minutes)!”

“By far the best pizza I have ever had. I would have no problem eating Vince & Dom's everyday. So good.”

“I ordered food at 8pm, at 9pm I called asking where it was, they said they forgot about it, oops, at 10pm it still had not been delivered so I called again, they were very sorry they said, they would give me a discount, at 10 30 pm I called again and this time no one answered. I do not know if the food is any good because I waited 2.5 hours and it never showed up. ”

“Nice looking place and okay food. The owner manager however is a class by himself. He does not like people and is rude. I am surprised he is in this business. He has the personality of someone who ought to be calling you on the phone when your credit card payment is late. I would not go back to this place.”

“Posiano's has a fine ambiance and pretty good service. The menu offerings are traditional Italian with no special surprises. On our recent experience, the food left no outstanding impressions and was merely average at best. I order one of the house specialties and found it to be anything but special (stuffed jumbo shrimp - many pieces of crab shell and breading made this an overpriced disappointment). Many other reviewers have given this restaurant fine reviews and I believe if you stick to the more traditional pasta dishes, you probably get what you are expecting. If you decide to visit this restaurant - the interior is rustic and roomy and can easily accommodate large parties. For that reason, it can get noisy and doesn't lend itself to a quiet romantic evening - if that's what you're after. The service staff seems proficient, but we had to ask for items that are normally offered at other restaurants. For instance, we had to ask for grated cheese for our pasta sides, and olive oil for the bread. Perhaps we caught them on an off night, but you really shouldn't have to ask for those items at an upscale restaurant - even olive garden offers those without having to ask. Based on our experience and the number of other Italian restaurants in the same area, we are not likely to go back.”

“We found this restaurant to be overpriced and pretentious. The salad ($6.95) was nothing but lettuce and a half a grape tomato, the bread was stale and my friend found a roach in the iced tea. The pasta was excellent if you don't mind paying $20.00 for a small portion of ravioli. ”

“Major disappointment. Food was overcooked and tasteless. Servers mixed up the drink orders and the food orders. We did not get the green tea and desserts that were supposed to be part of our special meal. Our Spanish speaking table Chef had no idea how to entertain a group, he just mechanically went through the motions that he had been taught. Considering that our party spent over $600 last night, I would have to say that we expected more and got quite a bit less.”

“I booked an 18th birthday party for 21 people and reserved (and confirmed) a private room on a quiet Monday evening. When we arrived, the owner had seated the teens in a bar area adjacent to the private room. We had to ask twice to move to the private room. The owner seemed reluctant to do so, and then rudely said to "Fine, go ahead if you have to". We did, and then had to move the tables around so the teens could sit together. It didn't look as if the room had even been set up for us. The service was slow and poor: my husband and I had to ask for drinks, menus and specials; we got our own napkins and utensils from other tables; salsa and chips weren't refilled; coffee or tea wasn't offered at the end of the meal; no one offered a birthday dessert to my daughter; the owner never came in to check on us or say thank you at the end of the meal. Fillet was good and thick again perhaps a tad too black on the outside. Rare to medium rare was well done on outside third and rare in depths but even the pink flesh was dry no pink blood/juices at all why not? Light on flavor begs the source of this meat. THIS is the best steak in town? I will give steaks in Montreal a miss if so but I suspect hype. Service was reasonably attentive and though not personal, efficient. Espresso lacked aroma and length of flavor also rather short of cream. I can't comment on wine list as I was not paying.”

“THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! They use too much rice for sushi. It seems that they are trying to fill customers' stomachs with a ton of rice.. Even many sushi rolls do not have any fish in them. I felt like they were deceiving customers. Moreover, the customer service is the worst. Waitresses are not kind enough and don't respect customers. They give out bills while customers are still having their meals. Today, I had lunch there and took out some rice from sushi since there was TOO MUCH rice. The owner THREATENED me in front of people not to do that or she would charge me extra. When I finished my lunch, that owner came up to my table and told me that she would charge me extra--$1 for each rice taken out from each sushi. In addition, the waitress dropped the bill on my table about 10min after we sat on our table. My friends and I will NEVER EVER go back to that restaurant!!! ”

“The best Lebanese food restaurant in the Washington Metropolitan Area. My family and I are regular diners at Bacchus. We kept going back for more. It's that good! We have introduced many friends to Lebanese food by taking them to Bacchus. They all became addicted to Mediterranean food.

“Try the Lobster Panzotti (Ravioli) or Red Snapper - they are fantastic! They also make this dessert that is half Connolly half Eclair that is great.”

“This restaurant is the perfect place if you want to sit back and relax. The food is always very well seasoned and my glass is never empty. The lunch buffet is very reasonable. The servers are so polite the whole atmosphere is a stress reliever. The lights are not too bright and not to dim. I really like the way the owners embrace their culture. The decorations are culture centered but I do think the decorations could be upgraded.”

“Our family was disappointed with the food quality and taste. The biriyani was not made in Mughalai style though it claims to. The starters and Naan appears to be frozen food that was heated up and served. Certainly not an authentic indian restaurent to go dine.”
