“I live the next town over and every Sunday me and my family have shay day. For $10 a person you get an all you can eat breakfast buffet. I loved it.”

“I was on an organized bus tour from Ottawa, Canada week of Oct 5 to 9/2009. This restaurant was the best one we had while visiting the Cap, the salad bar was fresh and of good variety, the main course was excellent and the dessert to dye for. I recommend it to everyone while in Cape Cod. The owner was so friendly. The decor was lovely, it felt like we had been invited to a beautiful home for Thanksgiving. Your place is awesome.”

“I love Michael Shay's. I live in Cambridge and have another home in town. I always try to get there when I am in town. The service is excellent and there is always a warm fire lit in the cold months. My companion always has the fish and chips and says they are the best. As a vegetarian, I am more limited but there is an unlimited salad bar for a little extra. Everything is fresh. I highly recommend a stop by -you won't be disappointed.”

“Michael Shays is one of my favorite Cape restaurants. The atmosphere ranges from the tables in the window section being bright and family friendly to a dimly lit booth section near the bar that can be romantic with the right dining partner! The food is always top notch with the exception of the salad and bread bar sometimes not seeming as fresh as it could be. My only real complaint was a poorly mixed Martini that cost a lot of money (and if you really want a Martini leave it to the pros at the mews, pricey but perfect).”

“Dust bunnies the size of tumble weeds under the bed linens that scratched until it hurt Beautiful teak Smith and Hawkins lawn furniture was so full of mold you could not sit there along with green coming out of the fountain. Surrounding gardens had so much promise but no one had pulled a weed in years view of dump from the gardens broken stained glass front door remodel of bathroom never finished Room AC was 10 - 20 years and full of spores. Floor molding not seen a dust mop or a wipe since the pilgrims landed.”

“Have only visited the post office for breakfast and each time made a different menu selection and have yet to be disappointed. Food is great, drinks are delectable and staff is quick, courteous and helpful. .”

“I have been going to Clem and Ursies for years and every year there's something new! The buzz that surrounds C&U is fantastic! An eclectic mix of people and anything you can imagine is on the menu! Take it home or eat it there and, if your lucky, get a chance to dine with the big man himself! I love ya man! Do not make the mistake of missing this gem at the tip of the Cape! ”

“We were looking for a good seafood restaurant. Lobster Pot was good, but tended to be a bit "over the top" with some of it's creations. On the other hand, some of their selections were to die for! Tables at the Top of the Pot tended to be crowded together, so often you felt like you were intruding on diners already at their table when seated so close to them. Wait staff was delightful, friendly, and more than happy to accommodate patrons with special requests.”

“If you're looking for a quiet, romantic place for dinner and cost isn't an issue, visit the Red Inn. We were there on the 3rd night of its opening for the season 2006, and we couldn't get a reservation. However, we were given the option of sitting at the bar, which affords you the same view and the same menu, but as an added bonus we got the Fabulous Thomas as our bartender. The food was better than wonderful; it was superb!!!”

“Cafe Heaven is a wonderful little gem right on the main drag which was loaded with locals. We were treated as if we lived there. We were seated right by the front bay window which enabled us to people watch while enjoying the best breakfast we've ever had. The eggs benedict over smoked salmon was out of this world. Everything was fresh and delicious!! The service was prompt and our waiter was pleasant. We will definitely pay Cafe Heaven a visit when we return.”
