“This restaurant could be terrific. Its wait staff is outstanding - pleasant, attentive and very quick. Its menu is decent and well-priced. Cozy romantic spot for people on a date or a good, quiet place for business people, but sadly, when they squeeze large family groups into the lounge area, all ambiance is lost. Such was the case the two times my wife & I dined there this past Summer. Both times we sat in the bar/lounge. Each time they combined 3 tables together & put large family groups there which upped the decibel level to that of a football stadium. We could no longer hear each other well enough to carry on a conversation! What a disappointment.”

• Despite not being the most handicap accessible restaurant, they are very accommodating of electronic scooters.
• It is difficult to get into the restaurant via the handicap entrance in the back, and not well lay out to accommodate handicapped individuals.

“Mahoney's has a good mix of seafood and land fare, and their gorgonzola salad dressing is to die for! The food is great; it¿s just the handicap accommodations that don't work very well. The nice thing is that they are open year round, so I can take my mother out for dinner every once in awhile. I'm not a fan of seafood, even after growing up on the Cape, so it gives a nice mix for the two of us to enjoy a dinner together.”
