• Never getting your order right.

“Never get the order right or if you order delivery it is never on time. Great food? How do they stay in business with all the screw ups?”

• Food was the usually not bad.
• Attitude of reception was bad.

“Arrived after call ahead seating. Were made to wait 20 more minutes as people came in and were seated ahead of us. Were rudely told that these people may have called ahead before us! Then, due to lack of business on a Saturday night 8/2. They had sections closed due to lack of business.”

“If faro is one of the best restaurants we've ever been to. We didn't know it was in Medford when we moved there. Once we discovered it, we started going every week. The service is the best we have ever had, literally. The owners are warm and gracious. The food is amazing! So good. Homemade pasta, authentic Italian sauces, fresh fish. So, so good. I can't say enough about it. You must try it.”

• Great buffet sections, friendly staff. Fresh food.
• Nothing.

“Evening buffet is outstanding, especially the rib roast carving station on weekends. Very good buffet selections with about 12 items to choose from. Price quite reasonable. Cocktails about $5. Owner very friendly. This is a regular stop for wife and I.”

• Food, price, cleanliness, atmosphere.
• Parking, although we had no problem parking nearby in Medford Square.

“Colleens is a classic - sort of a combination soda fountain and luncheonette. Great ice cream, sandwiches and soups. If you are in Medford, it is a nice alternative to fast food because it is almost as fast with a greater variety and very nice counter folks. It is the sort of place kids still hang out at after school and families and college students frequent.”

• Imaginative dishes with zucchini, peppers and other vegetables combined with seafood.
• Noisy inside with no atmosphere.

“Seafood Depot is a small, well-run seafood restaurant that serves mostly takeout. You order at the counter and pick up your food when it's ready. The place is geared for locals who can pick up a quick, reasonably priced fish dinner to take home. There are a few small tables and a blaring TV in the corner for those who want to eat in. Dishes are well prepared with generous portions at reasonable prices. ”

• Great service, amazing service, terrific atmosphere.
• Being so full after such a delicious meal.

“This restaurant is AMAZING!!! I have not ever had better service than that Il Faro. The food is out of this world. The food is as good if not better than what you would get in the North End of Boston and that's saying something! When you are in the restaurant you don't even know where you are. You feel as though you have left the country. ”

• Fresh fish dinners with a great selection with fair prices

“This is a very good restaurant for take out dinners as the seating area is limited. The food is very good, fair prices and the fish dinners are excellent. They offer fried, oven baked and broiled fish dinners. There are other items available including salads, chicken, soup, chowder and some sandwiches. I've never had a bad meal and the prices are fair and reasonable. The owner, Celine is there and runs a very nice place... it got a good review in the Boston Globe(July 2004).”
