Midway Restaurant

• Always good food, plenty of it and friendly service.
• Cold water in ladies room sink.

“I can't tell you how many times I've been to the Midway, but I can tell you I've never had a bad meal there. It's like Cheers "everybody knows your name and they're always glad you came". Try it.”

• I enjoyed everything.
• Except that one of the staff lady.

“I hope a manager from Bugaboo creek in Dedham is able to view this, because they deserve to know my disappointment in the service from one particular employee. I visited your restaurant a few weeks ago and was absolutely disgusted in the treatment I received from a young women named Laura. She was a tall girl and appeared to be Spanish. In fact, I cant not stop stressing to everybody how I will never go back to your restaurant due to that one particular women. Which is why I found this site to express how I feel. She was positively dreadful. I didn't finish my meal because I was almost positive she had done something to it. After her rude attitude and obnoxious facade, I knew she didn't want to be there, which made me not want to be there. That women should be working at a farm, not a restaurant.”

Bugaboo Creek Steak House

• Good food, drinks and service.
• Horrible access for handicapped people.

“The problem is the lack of handicap access. There are parking spaces but no easy way to get in without walking a very long distance on the outside--too long for someone that has any sort of handicap. Otherwise, everything was fine. We won't be back, though, until you improve the entrance.”

• The fettuccini Alfred was great. Pizza was awesome. Very good food.
• Salads don't come with the meal.

“We had take out to our hotel from this restaurant. It has great Italian food and pizza. It is conveniently located in the same parking lot as the Fairfield Inn and next door to the Residence Inn both by Marriott. It is easy to go and pick up and there is a lot of food for the price. Expect to have leftovers in your hotel fridge or at home. Easy off and on the highway if in nearby towns. ”

• Excellent food, servers, atmosphere, and prices.
• Often a long line at door, cash only.

“The only things that could possibly count against the 50s Diner are the ever present long line out the door (in all kinds of weather) and the fact that they take cash only. That line is a tribute to how popular this place is - people don't mind waiting to be seated. On very rare occasions you can arrive at a time when there's no line at all. The food is terrific, and plenty of it. The soup is "home made" on the premises and delicious. The desserts (I don't eat dessert) look scrumptious. The servers are all friendly and they get to know the regulars and what they like to eat. Atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Prices are excellent. Take-out is available. ”

• The eggs are always done to my taste.
• Can't use a credit card.

“Fifties diner is everything you want in a diner. Great brunch items, fast service and affordable. The long line is a testimony to the great food inside. The line is often deceiving because the turnover is frequent. I've never had a bad meal and I've been going there for at least 10 years for breakfast and lunch.”
