• Big party room.
• Bad food, bad decor, service, extremely dim lighting.

“I paid $15 for overcooked, under- flavored food! I was with a large group and my order got switched with someone else's from my party. The waiter adjusted the bills. The pasta seemed to have been boiling all year long. Chef Boyardee's pasta is firmer! The sauce tasted like they opened a jar, heated it, added canned veggies, then poured it over the very overdone pasta! There was no seasoning in it whatsoever. This is supposed to be an Italian restaurant, but all of the waiters are Mexican. The decor looks like it would be a real version of The Regal Beagal, the bar on Three's Company. The plates were poorly picked up at the dollar store and the silverware must have been stolen from a school cafeteria! Save your money and taste buds and go to a chain like Johnny Carino's, Olive Garden.”

• The pizza is both tasty and healthy. Fun atmosphere.
• The games are old and don't always work.

“BJ's offers a laid back atmosphere with traditional and more creative pizzas that tantalize the taste buds. My favorite is the chicken ranch. There are large TV's and a few arcade games for the kids. The staff is always great and food is prepared quickly. But the arcade games are very outdated and one of the 4 doesn't work. They really need to update that part of the restaurant. This is a popular spot in Lafayette for families and college students who have a craving for pizza that is both healthy and tasty.”

• Was not crowded, no waiting.
• Absolutely the worst wait staff you could imagine!

“This dining experience was a disaster! After being seated and eventually being brought water and bread by the busboy, that was the last server that even made eye contact with me. After requesting to speak to a waitress, she intentionally and carefully avoiding any eye contact for the next 30 minutes so we decided it would best for us to find service elsewhere. I calmly and quietly explained the issue to the hostess as we exited but I am fairly certain she was not concerned either. As far as service if concerned - this was one of the worst and most rude restaurants I have ever been to. I will never return!”

• No one got sick.
• Overall disappointment.

“A friend said that we had to try this sushi place, someone told her about it. So we did, I have to say I was disappointed. The atmosphere wasn't that great, and the food was just ok. The best part, not all of our sushi rolls came out at the same time, so when we asked our waitress about them she informed us the it would be a couple more minutes because the fish was frozen.”

• Sometimes the pizza is not as full of ingredients and other times.

“I have been going to Alesi's for over 30 years. My husband and I used to go on dates there. The food is great the atmosphere is very nice and the wait staff is wonderful. We always visit there when we are visiting family in Lafayette. We celebrate birthdays there all the time. Family tradition. I highly recommend it. Joan Broussard.”

• Cold food.

“The awful experience of my family had at this Logan's location. First, they warned us that there was no bread available and wouldn't be available for an hour (the loaf of bread they bring to the table). No big deal and at least they were nice enough to let us know. Then, my daughter's soda was nothing but carbonated water. Again, no big deal, the machine was out of syrup, which can happen anywhere. I ordered a cup of chili. It was cold. When I say cold, I mean literally refrigerator cold. My wife and I both ordered a club sandwich. My wife's sandwich was missing a piece of bread from the end of the sandwich. How does a restaurant serve a club sandwich with one end of the sandwich missing the bread.”

• Wonderful food and service!
• Somewhat of a wait for hibachi.

“Sushi was some of the freshest I've had in Lafayette. Service was excellent every time I've been. They can get rather busy at times, and there may be some wait for the hibachi tables, but it's definitely worth it. The sauces used alone are worth the trip.”

• A perfect place to come and have a good dinner and enjoy yourself in the bar.

“I think that since the old chef left the restaurant, the food service has improved 100 fold.”

• Pizza specials of the month and you have a choice of seasoned olive oil and white sauce instead of just red.
• Not q lot of low calorie food. Chairs do not have arms which is hard for the very elderly to stand up.

“Family run. Quality is consistent. Excellent pizza, lasagna, and hamburgers. Great prices. Once seated, can be in and out within an hour. Very popular with the locals. Lunch specials are a particularly good value which changes each day and week to week.”

• The price was a little steeper than expected.

“Great food and atmosphere. I really enjoyed my dining experience, which was on a Friday night. The pianist was absolutely superb. I will definitely revisit.”

• Food was too expensive for what you get, and the restaurant was very loud.

“I found the guitar player very distracting. We were seated at the worst table in the place. Near the kitchen and the prices were outrageous!”

“Very quiet atmosphere, romantic lighting, and a candle at every table; it's definitely one of my favorite places to eat. Not a place for kids to run around and disturb the experience. The pizza is great! And the pastas are good also!”

“Poor service, over priced, dirty, and who's who among customers. This place tires to com off as a, "Fine Dining," establishment, and fails miserably. We waited 45 minutes for our apps, while the chief and I guess owner, walked around carousing with the local drunks. Bare brick walls, lots of smoke, and obnoxious client, felt bad for our waiter. When we questioned the time it took to get our food, he referred the situation to the owner who in turn yelled at him. The entire building could hear the profanity. How is this place considering one of the top in Lafayette? Next time we visit this town, we will bring our business somewhere else.”

• I liked the food, but the Italian guitarist made the experience very romantic.
• Nothing.

“My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary at Bella Figure and it was such a memorable experience. The food was excellent. there was an Italian singer who played the guitar and serenaded us while we enjoyed our meal. The atmosphere is very romantic sort of Tuscan style. My husband and I plan on eating there again.”

• I love the Garfish plate and listening to the employees talk.
• The sometime long wait for the food.

“While my daughter was in school at USL she took me out to eat at Country Cuisine, she suggested I try the Fried Garfish plate, I did and liked it very much. It was prepared just like my mother fixed it for us as a kid growing up in Loreauville, Louisiana. Now when ever I am in the area on Friday I must have a garfish plate. This is not a fancy place but the food makes all the difference, if you like country food this is the place to be. The Bar-B-Que ribs are outstanding too, got to try them. I'll Be Back.”

• Great sushi and sashimi. Fresh fish.
• Sometimes, there can be a wait.

“I've eaten at all the sushi places around town and Bonsai is without a doubt the best place for sushi in Lafayette. The fish is always fresh. The wait can be long sometimes, but it's definitely worth the wait.”

• The picakue roll is excellent, as well as the Godzilla role.
• There is too much vinegar in rice! I cannot stress that enough.

“The sushi rice has too much vinegar in it, and their fish stinks. They don't pay enough attention to the delicate and sutal tastes of the sushi it's self. Trying to mask this lack of creativity with poorly made sauces. But other than that the business is run well, the staff are polite, and the kitchen is spectacular. I think that more pride and attention needs to be taken when it comes to the sushi. Paul already has the business part now all he needs is to get the facts about the fish. Find a love for the food its a true art that shouldn't be taken so lightly.”

• Always fresh and delectable.
• Sometimes takes a long while for cooked food, but worth the wait.

“Bonsai always has the freshest selection of fish. We try different sushi restaurants in town and always come back to Bonsai. I recommend that if you want good sushi, go to Bonsai. ”

• You have to wait for large parties.

“Bonsai Sushi Bar is amazing! From the food to the atmosphere, everything is great. The sushi is definitely the best for the money. I recommend Bonsai to any person who loves sushi nearly as much as I do. ”
