• Great food if you actually can get seated.
• Not uncommon to wait 2 hours to be seated.

“Ever since this business moved from N. Rock the service has went down hill and the whole trendy crowd had to come in and ruin it. The place is just way to busy, and the Japanese def. know how to cook food but managing a restaurant is not their strong point. They force you into either the tiny waiting area or you can hang in the bar and drink their overpriced alcoholic beverages. I have been to the new location three times. The first time went okay. The second and third time resulted in us leaving after waiting two hours to be seated. Both times we left and went to the Scotch, where they know what service is. If you can actually get seated, the food and the show is great.”

• Great sauces, fabulous service.
• Parking can be crowded.

“Cafe Bel Ami is by far my favorite fine dinning stop. The lamb shank and lemon crusted salmon are phenomenal. They have great sauces, especially the 5 pepper sauce. The service is out standing the entire wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is upscale and comfortable. It is a wonderful combination that keeps you coming back again and again.”

• The waitress was honest.
• The whole experience. I was put aback.

“Being that I had not been to this restaurant in 30 yrs, I expected a little change. What I got was a lot of change and not for the good. The place had a moldy smell from water damage. The salts on the table was one big lump it did not move. My steak was disappointing it had no flavor, no life to it. The spaghetti sauce tasted as if they opened a can of sauce and put on the plate. The drink that I ordered came from a 2 liter bottle not even cold. I walked in with the memory of Savutes from my teen years, and walked out with a bad memory. Even the dessert I ordered wasn't made there, it was from a store.”

“The food was nasty and way over priced, the apple pie was from Dillon's and the lasagna tasted like it was from a frozen diner, we both ordered Dr Pepper and it came from a hot 2 litter bottle and got watered down soon after she brought it to the table. The menu said my lasagna came with bread sticks and when I didn't get them I asked the waitress and she said I don't get real bread sticks just crackers that came with my salad. Every question we asked the waitress you could tell how embarrassed she was, so even though the food was nasty we still left her a nice tip. After we both left there we both got sick and I had stomach cramps into the next day.”

• There is nothing that I don't like about it.
• I don't get to go there as often as I like.

“Victory Sports Grille is the official Wichita home of Bengal Nation on NFL Sundays, and it also has excellent food for a reasonable price, great drink specials all week long, and a very friendly and approachable wait staff and management team. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys any of those things, and it is a wonderful place to watch football. Oh, and it has a game room for the kids, just in case you need a few moments to reflect.”

“Really good Mexican style food. The flour tacos and the combo dinners are all very good. I would avoid ordering the cheese dip. But the guacamole is usually very fresh and tasty! Very reasonable prices.”

• Its amazing; you must go check it out.
• There was nothing negative about my experience with cafe bel ami.

“OMG there are no words that can describe this place you have to see it to believe it, amazing setting, quite casual and an extremely professional and formal service staff that took care of us through out the evening, they are very well known for the filet Rossini, and the lemon herb crusted salmon, quite a delicacy. And the prices are extremely reasonable for all what you get! All you have to do is dress up and go! I didn't see any kids though. So u might want to invest in a babysitter,”

• Drug atmosphere.

“Lot's of drugged out looking staff. Our bartender was on house arrest. The manager looked high as a kite on coke or something. There was a smell of marijuana coming out of the kitchen, and my son said he peeked in there and saw cooks weighing drugs on a scale. I couldn't believe it and wanted to get my family safely away when I heard the manager yelling to some one on the phone he was going to make his life hell.”

• I like the fact that you can call in your order and pick it up in 15 minutes.

• The Lunch specials are gr8 and less then 6 bucks.
• People don't know about them

“I found this average place on S Broadway. Looked plain but I went inside anyways. I found the food to be great and the price very reasonable. The service was decent and the coffee they served didn't leave that after taste. I will return there when I'm back in Wichita.”

• Every aspect of the evening was superb!
• I can't think of one thing I would change.

“I have traveled around the world and across the country, but I just had the best dinner I've had in a long time, and it was here at home, Cafe' Bel Ami. They were able to take a last minute reservation, and that was just the start! I had London Broil and my Uncle had what he always has at Cafe Bel Ami, the Lamb Shank. We both started with the Fattoush salad (best in Wichita). I absolutely loved our entrees, and made room for our favorite desserts, Bread Pudding and Creamy Custard. Our server was excellent. I loved everything about this dining experience. Cafe Bel Ami never fails to deliver, consistently. Can't wait to go again!”

• Service was horrible and lack of management.

“We went 7/3 and the restaurant was wall to wall packed. Horrible service as it took 45min. to get a drink. They said they only had one bartender; food however was fast and good. Cashing out was a nightmare. It took us almost an hour for them to figure out what we had and charged us accordingly. Store totally understaffed and under managed.”

“Hanna cafe is fantastic. I wish I lived next door so I could just walk over and enjoy their food every day. I have been many times and have always found the servers to be extremely attentive. They have always been very willing to go over the menu or anything about the food and traditions I might want to learn more about. They do get very busy on the weekends and because it is a smaller establishment, you expect a wait. However, I have found them to be very accommodating by taking a call in order or reserving a table. It would be lovely if they could expand to offer more locations.”

• The place looked descent from the outside.
• Very unprofessional/unprepared service.

“My family & I weren¿t impressed with hanta, so I don't recommend it. If you crave sushi, then go somewhere else unless you like to wait up to 2 hrs for an order of sushi. They have one sushi roller, which is the owner and the waitresses are rude and careless. They definitely can't handle parties of 2 or more, and totally unprofessional & unprepared for the weekends. Pass the buck to another business that knows how to treat their customers.”

“I love Torres. It is great. It is especially good when you're leaving the bars downtown and need some substance. It melts in your mouth with warm cheesy goodness. Mmmm, Torres rocks!”

“Coming from Texas, I did not expect to be totally blown away by a Wichita burger! The beef at Harry¿s is the best I¿ve ever had. This is a sports bar and to find really great food there was a pleasant surprise. My daughter went wild over the chicken and my son loves the chicken fried steak (he lives in Wichita). The food is great and the service was friendly. I'll be back soon for another Malibu burger.”

• Great food and times for the price!
• Difficult to get a table unless reservations have been made.

“If you like great food, good times, and value then this is the place to go. The first time I went I was blown away. The service was awesome and I couldn't stop smiling as the chef prepared our food in front of us and the others sitting with us. Everyone around us was laughing and having a great time. If you pass up a chance to go you are passing up an evening of fun. .”

“This is the worst place I have been in a long time. First off when we arrived, there was no other people in the restaurant, that should of been our first clue, tried to order a drink, they are not allowed to serve alcohol for some reason. This was our first visit to torre's and we will not return. We ordered a pizza, sat there, watched someone walk out with 2 pizza's, someone sat at the bar eating pizza, 40 minutes passed and no one said anything to us. The waitress finally came over, said the pizza was almost done, we requested more water since our glasses were empty. She returned and said the oven had lost heat and it would be just a few more minutes, returned and said she would give us a discount. We never received pizza, ended up leaving, employees being rude, very mouthy.”

“Knolla's is a little (I mean three chairs little) carry out pizza place. The pizza is fantastic, the crust thin but not flat, the sauce not to sweet, topping well proportioned. I love this place but out of the three times I've ordered there I found hair in my food twice. So no more. Unless you like someone else's hair.”

• The very best thing about Lemonade is the hummus.
• I wish they'd make it 100% non=smoking.

“I have eaten at Lemonade regularly for the past 8 years. It's one of my favorite places. The very best thing about Lemonade is the hummus. It is by far the best in the city. Hummus is my favorite food and I've eaten it pretty much every where in town and Lemonade far exceeds everyone else's. Also excellent is the fatuous salad. The service is great. ”

• This is by far the best Japanese steakhouse in Wichita.
• Difficult to get a reservation for prime time dining.

“For anyone who enjoys Japanese food, hibachi or otherwise, this is one not to miss. The new location at Greenwich & 13th St. N. is a beautiful new building. They have added a larger sushi bar and more hibachi tables. A must try! ”

• Small building, tight seating.

“Le Monde is a Lebanese restaurant located in a former Taco Tico. Whatever you do, order the fattoush salad. It usually comes with the gyro sandwich (also good) as part of a special. Other highlights are Mediterranean chicken wrap and the tomato bisque soup. Most people like the complimentary sweet biscuits served before the meal. I've never ordered dessert, but the desserts look excellent. The service is good--Le Monde seems to be able to hang on to its help. On the minus side, is the building. The place fills up at lunch, so come early. Seating is a bit tight, and there's only one table that can set more than four. It would be great if Le Monde would go 100% smoke free, but there is a small smoking area well separated from the larger non-smoking area. Le Monde is a place most of us in the office agree that we like, so it's frequently our choice. The food is tasty and you won't hate yourself afterward for eating it. ”

“Your restaurant was disgusting. I hated the food. The chicken was raw, the fish was stale and the fries tasted like playdoe. The lobby area, you know...the place where you sit down and EAT, was full of flies, spiders and dirt. ”
