“Ate there for lunch with a business associate. Service was quick and friendly. Chicken Verde was very tasty and rich. House made rice was excellent. The place is very clean. Locally owned restaurant with varied menu. Large selection of beers brewed on the premises. Lighter beer selections.”

“This is the ultimate flash back to the drive-ins of old. They are a Topeka landmark and have been in business for more than a half century. They were recently featured on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives" and for good reason. They still make burgers with a burger press and their Apple pies (amazing) are still made fresh every day. Don't go here if you're on a diet, but do go here if you want great burgers and rings the way that they were meant to be made, and whatever you do. Don't miss out on the apple pie!”

“First off, the food was absolutely terrible! Three tables in our row got up and walked out without paying for not getting any service or, when they did get their food it was terrible. The rib eye was dry, burnt, and chewy and the waiter tried to tell us rib eye is supposed to be chewy because of all the fat. Other tables complained of the same thing. Requested medium, but it came back well-well done. Waiter took it back then came back a second later saying he gave me someone else¿s steak by accident. It was just as done. The waiter asked if I was okay with it anyway though. $18 bucks for a way over done steak, no way! The table next to us had gotten up 10 minutes before us because of the same issue! A family of four got up and left an hour and half into their meal because they had not received their entree or refills on their drinks. Our waiter said he had to cook because the chefs "were not on their game tonight". The manager came by, looked at us smugly and just walked away. No help, no apology! This was the worst place I have ever been too! The environment is nice (except for the waiters yelling at the kitchen staff in front of everyone).”

“They have the best tostados I have ever eaten. The service is fast, efficient, and friendly. I have been eating there for over 15 years and the food and service have remained the same as I just described. The prices have not gone up more than .20 in 15 years. You can still get full and have a great meal for just over 00 and that includes the drink. .”

“The food is excellent! Even more the service was phenomenal! If you like family-oriented restaurants this one is defiantly the place to go. Sitting there for the first 15 minutes, the server and chef knew practically every customer by name. I'm honored now to be apart of that!”

“Went to the new location of Fritz Co. in Overland Park, KS and was extremely disappointed. The new decor was certainly nice enough and subsequently was very clean. Hostesses and wait staff were clean and well groomed. The service was clearly from inexperience young people who appeared to have little fine dining experience and simply do not know the format of a proper dining experience. They certainly had good manners and were pleasant enough but just not well versed in restaurant service and expectations. And, although, the restaurant was quite quiet with plenty of available seating we were seated in the most undesirable place in the back by the restrooms rather than in an area where we could enjoy the atmosphere of the decor. This seemed to be at the convenience of those providing wait service. Then, the food. The bottom line is that it was unacceptable and quite bad. For instance, regardless of which salad we each ordered, everyone in our party all had what was obviously was not a freshly prepared salad but rather what equaled that of bagged lettuces found in the grocery store. The dressing was in a very small portion in a plastic container. All of our entries resembled prepared microwave meals which lacked quality, flavor, and presentation. Finally the price was outrageous considering the quality of the food. We as a family dine out often and have had much better food and service at local pubs and diners and expected much more from what we though was a higher end restaurant. People in today's society have need to eat at restaurants more and more and are also much more savvy and sophisticated expecting and deserving quality food and service. They will not get that at Fritz Co. We will not return nor recommended it. ”

“THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN TOPEKA! No other Italian restaurant compares to Constantino's. Probably because this place serves up true, homemade Italian cuisine. The Italian dressing is homemade and unbelievably awesome! It may be small and located downtown but it is worth the short drive to downtown! ”

“Nothing too spectacular about this one...the food isn't too great either. Just typical Mexican food that is over-priced. Also, don't waste your money on the buffet unless you love tacos, nachos, and enchiladas...b/c that's all they have!”

“I found the Samsung SCH-A930 to be quite enjoyable, though there might have been better choices in Verizon's EV-DO lineup. It was prepared medium-rare over a bed of field greens, with a side of wasabi mashed potatoes. Scrumptious, to say the least. My partner snacked on a wonderful Treo 700w, which runs Windows Mobile 5. This smart phone also comes with Bluetooth, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and EV-DO support. It was beer-battered and deep-fried in oil, then served with a wonderful spicy aioli dipping sauce. Unfortunately, the Treo 700w doesn't include integrated Wi-Fi and has a somewhat poor 240x240-pixel resolution (which could result in some heartburn). If eating mobile communication and electronic devices isn't your bag, this may not be the place for you. But for those that can't get enough out of a good hearty meal of plastic and various electronics, this is a must-try restaurant. Great for any date or business rendezvous. I did find our salesman/waiter to be a little on the overwhelming side. After we ordered our meals, he insisted that we try a 3-year plan, which we weren't ready to commit to. We did finally settle on a 1-year plan, which included a great $40 mail-in rebate.”

“I have not been to Spankys for about a year and remembered they used to have a great double cheeseburger. Times change. I had the worst double cheeseburger I have had in a long time. The CB was cooked until it was black, the toasted bun was as hard as a rock. Now to top that off, they have homemade fries that RAW in the middle! They cut the potato in a slicer of some kind and threw it in the firer. The middle was raw. Don't go there, they are on the way down and looks like they don't even have regulars.”
