• Water was fine.
• Extremely rude owner, salty pesto and inedible food.

“The pesto pasta was inedible - way too salty. When we sent it back, the owner came out and belittled us in front of other customers. He wouldn't take the dishes off our tab, even though we had only two bites. We left with an empty wallet, empty stomachs and a bad taste in our mouths. I would not recommend this place to anybody!”

• Great service and able to get right in without waiting.
• A little pricey.

“Service was great and food was good. A little on the pricey side- expect 15-20 pp on the Teppanyaki side. I was pleased overall.”

• The great food and the décor.
• We had trouble finding it.

“My husband and I were on vacation and asked about a good place to eat, were directed to Montana mike¿s and I¿ve been talking about it every since. The food was the best. The service was great. If we went back and they were out of everything but the rolls I would still be happy. I've never had better rolls in my life. I wish someone would open one here in Ohio.”

• Used to have a good traditional menu.
• Food selection on the menu has decreased rapidly and this sounds like the chef has left. No a good sign.

“It used to be one of my favorite places for Chinese in town. Since the last two years, the quality of food and services dropped drastically. Prices of buffet increased by almost two fold but food quality remains intact or worse. Service wise, one of the waitresses, was rude and very often unresponsive to the needs of the customers. This happened somewhere in March of 2006 and hopefully things had gone better since. Overall, I would not recommend it. The best Chinese selection is along 23rd street. Check out King buffet, Peking taste, Jade Mongolian and Jin Shan. Worth every 2 cents.”

• The food, the food, the food, the people (staff).
• Hmmm let's see....uhhh, there was ...no not that, ohh the paper towels in the bathroom could have been more absorbent.

“As trace Adkins says it'll make you want to smack your grandma..........I am telling you this place is good, if you don't like it, your are either a cheap ass or a too good rich snob, the food is good, hell truth be known they'll give the Hereford house a run for their money............but on a less expensive scale. If you say I hate the Hereford house, well then........get the hell out of Kansas City and the metro area.”
