“Great gyros, dogs, and burgers for a good price. Lots of other choices too like baked chicken, subs, salads, polish sausage. Food is tasty and restaurant is clean. Only downside is they are packed for lunch and dinner.”

• Outback's advertising with sizzling steaks makes me salivate.
• This Naperville Outback has the worst manager in the nation.

“The Manager for this particular Outback Steakhouse in Naperville, IL, has to be the rudest, most customer-unfriendly individuals I have ever encountered. When approached with the concept of providing a future steak dinner for a party of 12, his attitude was who are you to! Anyone he did not know from his neighborhood was not welcome at his restaurant. As a professional restaurant auditor, I must say he took the cake for most mal adjusted restaurant manager I've ever met. Avoid this steakhouse. The Lone Star Steakhouse in Downer's Grove, IL, just a few miles eastward is much more customer friendly and reasonably priced.”

“I have to say, I've never tasted better food than what I've had at Pasta Amore's. I have yet to come across something I've not liked. I came here with friends about a year or 2 ago. We were visiting a friend of ours who lives in Naperville. We stumble across this place after leaving the Walgreens which is located just behind the restaurant and all decided to go in because it looks cute from the outside. Well, we got inside and just fell in love with the place. We sat down and ate. We wound up taking food home to our husbands and since then my husband & I along with my friends & their husbands have been going to Pasta's ever since!”

“I love this place! I think people find things wrong with everything. Do Mexicans go to Taco Bell? No, they don't because it's not authentic (a comment I've heard before from a Mexican-American person). Italians go to places like Pasta Amore because it's authentic and tastes great! This restaurant is yummy all around. My family loves it, my friends love it, and of course, I love it. Oh guys, and I'm not from Naperville. I'm from the city and do indeed travel to Naperville just for this restaurant.”

• Worst I can say is I don't really care for the plastic table cloths. Glad that's the worst.

“The manager seemed really mean to their employees. The people who were actually making sandwiches and stuff looked so tired. I think they deserve more pay because their job was truly miserable when I came in one Sunday”

• Good food with great service.
• Does not open on Sundays.

“This is the best Thai restaurant that my family and I have been to in the suburb; it is quite a distant from Winfield, but it still worth the drive. There is a price range for everyone. Food is served fast but no one is rushed. They will make anything you ask just to please your taste. Therefore, this is a very good place for people with picky tastes. I highly recommend this to everyone.”

“This is a great restaurant. The food is fantastic, fresh as can be and cooked just right. The homemade salsa and chips were so good that we ordered some to go. Was there on a Saturday for lunch and we were seated right away. Highly recommend.”

• Food not as good, prices too high for portions, menu has changed and not for the better.

“I've gone to outback for years, at least 10 I remember. My last visit was disappointing. The service is always great, that you cannot ask for better. Several items have been removed from the menu. The portions are smaller. I always liked their lobster tails; one was more than enough, now it takes at least 3 to satisfy. They have gotten so small. The chopped salad a new item is very good and if you fill up on salad and the bread which is always good, although sometimes stale, you go away hungry, but you won't have any leftovers. The only thing that didn't shrink is the prices. For what you get it is too expensive, you can do better elsewhere.”

• Great pizza, good sandwiches, and priced moderately.
• Dining room is unimpressive.

“This restaurant is a true "neighborhood restaurant" for the area. We often order their pizza to go. One of the nice things about little Italian is that they allow you to order a pizza with, for example, half pepperoni and half sausage, and charge for one ingredient. Many are places insist you¿re having two items when ordering this way. The dining room is "okay." it's pleasant but nothing special. The sandwiches are good and priced moderately. The Italian dishes are also tasty and a good value. There is a very small bar off the dining room which seats no more than 20.great.”

“My family and I love pasta amore. We were so glad when they came to the neighborhood. The food reminds me of my childhood when we would gather around and have a wonderful feast. There is no better place for Italian food in the Chicago land area!”

• Mongolian beef and chicken pad Thai. Very friendly owners and staff.
• They sometimes fall a little behind in serving due to burst of demand.

“First, the proper name is lemon grass Thai - (not what they have listed above) excellent Thai food. The Mongolian beef and their pad Thai are both very good. The people are friendly but they can sometimes fall a little bit behind from trying to serve bursts of patrons. I have never had a bad experience there and the recent management change has only made it better.”

“What a relief to have a great restaurant to spend your money in. What a relief to have great food to eat and feel full and have enough to take home for leftovers. I think we lack this kind of restaurant and it's just a great relief to have one in Pasta Amore.”

• The homemade/handmade 8-finger cavatelli are to die for.
• I honestly have nothing to say negative about this place.

“I have been to Pasta Amore's numerous times, for a variety of occasions, and have not yet been disappointed. I enjoy the food tremendously as well as the atmosphere and service. I've been fully satisfied bringing my business clients and fellow employees here for lunch/dinner and my family greatly enjoys it also. My clients tell their clients and their families and so on and so forth. It's a hidden treasure in Naperville. I love it. I always recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. Hats off to you Chef Roberto. You've got a great place there and you're a very talented cook.”

• Nicely decorated and the food was excellent.
• Food made from scratch takes a while to make.

“Everything we have tried has been top notch with a price to match. Excellent chicken Marsalis, Italian potatoes, pizza, fettuccini Alf redo and salads. The sauce on the pizza is unbelievably good. Can get busy, so arrive before 4:30 or 5:00.”

“The Shogun Japanese Steakhouse is delicious. They have an abundance of authentic, Japanese food that tastes just as great as it sounds! I love taking my family here also, even my young kids think its good! The Shogun Japanese Steakhouse really is a crowd pleaser and there's never a long wait for the food or table. ”

• Tables too close together.

“We've been here several times, and it has never disappointed. Imaginative menu which frequently changes. Very good food, well prepared, attentive knowledgeable wait staff. Tables are a bit too close together, which makes an intimate dinner or conversation difficult, but still an excellent place. ”

• Best chefs in the whole world !!!!
• Closing in a couple of weeks

“We have eaten at the Samba Room in Naperville about 4 times now. I mentioned to the waiter that it is my favorite restaurant in Naperville and that I cant bring myself to try anywhere else because I love it so much. He proceeded to tell me that they are going to be closing and the owners are going to open an Italian chop house in its place. How dissapointing. First of all , we dont need another Italian restaurant seeing there is one on every other corner in the U.S. and second of all , this was so unique. Cuban food is so good. You do not find a restaurant with the quality of food that the Samba room has very often. I hope the owners will reconsider their decison. It is a real shame. Satisfied but very dissapointed customer. ”

• Good waitstaff, decent food
• Not conversation friendly, very crowded, unfriendly reservation check-in; out-of-line corkage fees

“We called ahead and asked if they would waive corkage if we brought some special wines. We spoke with Lisa the manager. When we arrived for our 630pm reservation we were told that the reservation was at 730pm. Not a good omen. We did eventually get seated, had a good dinner and opened 4 bottles of wine we had brought. The bill came with a $100 corkage fee. An ugly scene ensued with the corkage fee eventually coming off the bill. If you are an oenophile steer clear of this place. Based on the scene at the end our meal we will never go back and we eat out 5 days a week.”

• Everyone can make what they want, great for vegetarians too!
• Couldn't find any!

“This place is a make your own stir fry, which allows everyone to choose what they want. Being a vegetarian it is great since they will prepare your food separately if you ask them to. Also, there is a show every time with the chefs flipping the tongs, ringing gongs, and really just showing off. I love this place and recommend it to everyone!”
