• Closes between lunch and dinner so don't go at an odd hour.

“Chop's is consistently amazing! Kara and Chuck Pastor have created a bit of perfection on the Southwest Side of Fort Wayne. Regardless of the server, it is always top notch. Great for business lunch and dinner. The Chicken Citrus Salad is top notch, and the Black and Bleu Steak is perfection. The Flirting is strong and delicious! Chops is top notch, every time!”

• Not for the family.

“Cannot beat the price. If youre looking for a spot to spend 20 bucks and feel like a king, this is the place. The food is good, the service is friendly and the beer is cold. The place has a full bar, dart boards, a few TV's and pool tables. No dress code here, just a great place to unwind from the day. They're also open late!”

• The cheese appetizer is excellent.
• The halibut special was not good.

“I have been at the Chops restaurant several times and have enjoyed the food. However, last night (10/02/07) the restaurant had a Halibut special which I would have thought that if a special was feature at a restaurant of this quality it should be excellent. Wrong…the sauce or marinade that was on the halibut was so over powering that you could not taste the flavor of this delicious fish and the fish unfortunately was over cooked. It was a very disappointing part of the meal, however everything else was good. PS: This was the place that I asked my husband to take me for my Birthday.”

• Be prepared to get booted If you're done eating during rush hour!

“Remember the time when you could grab a glass bottle of coke and a Coney dog and sit and listen to the local gossip? If you miss that time then just walk through the doors and prepare to be transported to another time. The service Is extremely quick, they don't mess around, and If you're lucky you'll even get a joke with the meal. They have the best dogs In ft Wayne and most of It Is due to the atmosphere. If you're In ft Wayne sometime and you want someplace In walking distance of downtown (parking Is a little bit of a joke) that you can sit back and just enjoy a simpler time then its well worth the walk. Enjoy!”

“The show on 8/11 was the best I've ever seen at Snickers. I've seen very good shows there in the past but never where all three of the comedians were outstanding! Courtney, the emcee, was very funny and related well with the audience. And John Betz Jr. and Leo Dufour were absolutely hilarious! I've never laughed so hard in my life! The three of them presented a show that will be hard to beat! If and when they perform at Snickers again, I'll make sure I'm in the audience!”

• Still a fast food place. May be a little difficult to get to, depending on where you are going because of one way streets.

• Excellent food & service. Also enjoy the atmosphere.
• Not real fancy, but it is not supposed to be.

“The tenderloins are excellent and the atmosphere is nostalgic with jukeboxes at the tables. The service is very friendly and good.”

• Delivery and prep time is slow.

“Great Pizza, get the specialty! As someone who travels a lot for business, I look for local pizza shops to try whenever I am in a new town. Some are keepers for return trips, and some are not. Raimondo's is a keeper. The crust is a little different, not to thin or thick. Just a nice hometown pizza with a lot of topping!”
