User Reviews for Bloomington Restaurants« Go back to Milton Keynes HotelsResearch User Reviews for Bloomington (1-5 of 5)Restaurant Tallent
“On a recent trip we visited this restaurant based on the AAA guidebook and an article in Midwest Living magazine. To begin with, we were very disappointed in the menu - one of the reviews had raved about the scallops, a favorite of one of my traveling companions - only to find that the menu changes frequently and there were no scallops or the reviewed bread pudding. I had the snapper entree - fish was tasteless but the risotto was okay. One of my friends had the salmon and ate only a little as she thought it tasteless as well. Friend who ordered the vegetarian dish did like it. Desserts sounded better on the menu than on the plate. Our meals were definitely not worth the price that night.”

“GREAT steaks! Hand cut, cooked to perfection. You can stand outside, and smell the steaks as they are being cooked. Large portions (steak for 2 or steak for 3)--enough to have steak and eggs for breakfast the next day. and the steak still tastes delicious! Sometimes the wait to eat will have people lined up on the sidewalk--good to call ahead but, you can walk around the Bloomington town square to while away 30 minutes or so. This really is a place just for steaks: the salad is just OK. The baked potato is large enough, served with butter and sour cream. The rolls are OK. The mushrooms are the perfect combination with the steaks! mm! The service is great, prompt and clean.”

“The food is local, fresh, and delicious! While the food's expensive (an entree runs around $25-30), the chef does not have a cheap hand with the dishes - you'll definitely get your money's worth. Excellent and highly professional wait staff (thanks Dawn!) had an extensive knowledge of the wine list, and was able to make solid recommendations of what wines to pair with your courses. The service was excellent, I felt like people were truly waiting on me - not once did I have to even attempt to get a server's attention, because they were already on their way to the table to do whatever was necessary. A great experience and it keeps me coming back!”

“My husband and I have been going to Grazie! for several years, and it just keeps getting better. Great pasta dishes, steaks and seafood. Lots of vegetarian choices. Outstanding wine list (beer is also served). Great place on the square in Bloomington! Try the mushroom tortellini.”
