Lucca Italian Restaurant

• Love the crust on the pizza.
• Up stairs is not as nice as the bar area.

“Every time we go to Bloomington we have to go to Lucas. They have the best pizza and that is the only thing we ever get. It is that good. Although the other food looks good also. They have a great choose of beer and the bar is a great old time atmosphere (neat little corner bar) and a great place to spend time with friends.”

• Great food.

“Awesome! I really like Baggies great food. I love that my children have fun drawing on the on top of the table cloth. Kids get a free ice-cream Sunday with their meal. Just a fun place to eat.”

• Good food, not over priced, friendly atmosphere.
• Nothing negative to say.

“When I moved to Bloomington 5 years ago my wife took me for breakfast there. When then moved out of town but still like to go there whenever we visit. It has not changed a bit and that is what is so great about it, they have friendly staff who look after you like you were family and the food although not the fanciest is just good home-style cooking with plenty to choose from and full of flavor.”

• Bar was kind of cool looking.
• Didn't enjoyed the food.

“I was disappointed in Lucas. Their pizza was terrible and the only kind of pizza crust they offer is cracker crust. I gave them a second try and ordered the spaghetti, it was soggy and watery and again very disappointing. They are over priced for what you get. I do not recommend Lucas and I gave it two chances and won't go back.”

“Lucas was very pricy for what you got. The only kind of pizza crust they offer is cracker crust and the pasta was disappointing. The interior was nice but the food could be better. I've been there twice and I probably wouldn't go back.”

• I didn't find anything positive.
• Pretty much the entire experience.

“I was very disappointed with Central Station Cafe. I set up a business dinner on July 24, 2008. The service was incredibly slow -- with the server failing to check in with us periodically. To make matters worse, the server was an ill-humored, curt young man who seemed little interested in making our experience a good one. The food was average and below for the entire table. My salmon was undercooked. I was embarrassed and will not go back.”

• Out of this World Ice Cream! So rich and creamy, great service.
• Sometimes the lines can be long but usually move pretty fast.

• Restaurant was filthy, and food was not cooked well.

“Applebee's was our favorite restaurant in Bloomington, IL...what has happened. The last time we went, the restaurant was filthy, and the food was not cooked well, the vegetables were almost raw. This is not the Applebees we know.....what has happened?”

• Nothing but!
• Smoking, but we go with the flow.

“Best pizza in the world, including Italy! Local and National history abound. Great college hangout, and yes, a neat place to take a date. We celebrated our 50th there a few years ago and even people we didn't know stopped by to say congrats. We recommend the luck to everyone who asks about good food! They even offer anchovies on their pizza; now that's Italian!”

• Lately? Nothing.
• Poor customer service, inaccurate orders, mystery meat entries.

“If you want food scooped out of a pan that you can't get made to order, that has been sitting around for who knows how long, and service where they get your order wrong 3/4 of the time, go to Hot Wok. If you want good food, made when you order, customized to your taste, with a friendly, honest owner and employees, go to China Star on either Oakland or Raab Road. Once upon a time (i.e. early 90s), Hot Wok used to be good, but they aren't anymore. Their beef tastes nasty, and the owners are unfriendly. When they screw up a delivery order (which is all the time because the people taking orders on the phone are idiots and can't speak the language), they argue with you about it until you insist they make it right. They're a bunch of losers. ”
