• Service is excellent, food is just as good.
• Nothing.

“Bar none, the best restaurant in Griffin, from good food to friendly service, and most of all, it's great just to go some place that you can't find a million and one of some place else. J Henry's is almost a weekly trip for me, and each time it is just as good as the last.”

• Everything, especially the atmosphere.
• Nothing.

“My husband and I had to commute on weekends the first 6 months we were married and Griffin was the halfway point. We were quickly referred to Manhattan's as the "best" place to eat there and have loved it ever since! The prime rib is fantastic and the desserts leave you full and wanting more the next day. If you happen to like Riesling wine, be sure to try the Covey Run. it is awesome!”

• Ice cream was good.
• Black workers worked slow waiting on white people.

“This review is more related to the poor customer service than with the quality of food. I have eaten here during the day time with good results. But the evening my wife and I stopped for ice cream was horrendous. The evening crew that was waiting on customers was all black. We thought we'd beat the drive thru since it was so long. But by the time the young girl taking the orders finished flirting with the thugs she was waiting on and so desperately lusting after, the last car in the drive thru was pulling off and we hadn't even placed our order yet. And all the workers were working like they were in slow motion without any regard toward quick service to the customers.”

• Long wait.

“Nice change from cookie cutter restaurants. Servers were very helpful and work well as a team. Menu selections good and priced very well. Would dine there again.”

• There's not one here.

“I don't know where the other guy ate. But I was in the business and still own part of another restaurant. With 30 yrs. of seeing it pretty well but missing something. I was incredibly impressed especially with the menu. The owners game plan was to have a smaller menu. But train the chefs to prepare it perfect. I have eaten there maybe 10 times? My experience was perfect each time. I was so pleased, I tried things on the menu I had never had before (gambling) and loved everything. You will feel comfortable in a suit or nice casual attire. Young clean cut college age kids took my order. Ask for the apple pie cheese cake! I was told the first month out a banker from Atlanta ordered 30-40 a week to give to clients! The prices were more than fair, infact I was impressed with the increments, $7, $9 ect. I will go there again when in town. In fact I own an advertising company now and was looking to find them on the net to promote them for free!”

• Great service and food.
• Chips were a little stale on the appetizer, but other than that, it was great.

“Great place to eat in Griffin. Here on business and was recommended by coworkers, and was not disappointed. Salad was crisp and cold, prime rib was perfectly done and very tasty. Appetizer was alright, the chips must have been from the day before, as they were a little stale, but other than that, it was great. Service was awesome as well; our drink glasses never got less than half full the whole meal. NA”

• Employees openly arguing, long wait for service; cold, undercooked food.

“Horrible service. Unattractive, bland food. A terrible injustice to the original restaurant owners.”
