User Reviews for Nampa Restaurants« Go back to Gadsden HotelsResearch User Reviews for Nampa (1-13 of 13)El Rodeo
“My husband and I went to this restaurant for dinner and thought it was very good. The salad was the only bad thing. Nothing but iceberg lettuce with a tomato on top. Luckily the rest of the meal made up for it. I had the steak fajitas and it came sizzling in a tangy, slightly sweet sauce that I have never experienced in a fajita. I thought it was quite unique and tasty. My husband had the El Rodeo chimichanga with shredded beef and he thought it was on par with other Mexican restaurants. I had a bite and thought it was very tasty and crispy. Overall we were impressed. The atmosphere wasn't much, but the food was good. We will be coming back here again!”

“Arguably the worst service in the Treasure Valley. Although the food, if it arrives, is passable. I will not take business associates here when they visit. It leaves a bad impression of our area. Use another restaurant like Outback or Olive Garden.”

“This restaurant is a hidden gem! Gourmet food at reasonable prices. I live in Boise and drive 30-40 minutes to take guests to copper canyon restaurant in Nampa. It's that good! I love their fresh salmon and halibut dishes, always done to perfection. The shrimp scampi is excellent, too. Meat-lover friends tell me the steaks are top notch. Start with appetizers, and finish with dessert. Youll love it all.”

“The food was extremely greasy. The pop machine was filthy. The seats were ripped and the tables sticky. Definitely, not somewhere I would go again after that experience. I used to go there a lot more often when I was younger and it was fantastic. It has really gone downhill.”

“Terrible steaks, select not choice or prime. The salad bar is good, though no longer at a good price. The prices are high for average food. Staff looks unhappy but the service is great none-the-less.”

“Good prices and average food. Below average atmosphere, though they tried to improve it, it didn't work at all and the food was worse with the renovation.”

“It has become expensive for what you get. It used to be a good value but not any longer. Portions are small, the coffee is below average and the milkshakes are no longer as good as they were. Good for breakfast, average for lunch and don't order the prime rib. The staff rarely looks happy. The orange decor is meant to make you feel hungry, which is actually pleasant.”

“Chapala's is the best Mexican restaurant around! Everything is cooked fresh, and very flavorful. We like the mike's combo platter, since it has a little bit of everything - the carne asada tastes like it just came off the grill. When friends from out of state come to visit, we always take them to chapala's. And, if you don't feel like going out - call ahead and have your order ready to go - they definitely don't scrimp on serving size for take-out orders - curled up in front of the TV last night and enjoyed another fine dinner, thanks to chapala's. Great food, great prices, great service, very clean - the best.”

“The food is excellent and the price is an excellent value --compares in price to Outback but with much better food. Our server was not good, but the management is excellent. ”

“We travel to Nampa every summer from San Diego. Never miss eating at The Outback at least once. One of our very favorite places anywhere!

“We travel to "home" near Nampa every year to visit family and almost always eat at Applebee's at least once. The staff is friendly and cheerful and helpful even at their busiest. The menu satisfied all ages of our group including teens.
