• The food!
• It is not very romantic.

“This review has a nautical theme. The food and service are consistently very good. There are many seafood choices and most of the seafood can be prepared in various manners.”

• My wife enjoyed the crab-legs.
• Don't order steak, they can't cook it.

“We had heard great things about this place and since we live close by it was time to visit the restaurant. The décor leaves something to be desired, but its of less interest than the food. My wife ordered crab legs and a New York strip combo and I (not being a big fish-eater) ordered a Delmonico ½ lbs steak, medium rare (the way meat should be). Food came out reasonably fast although the waitress was a little slow. Unfortunately my steak was closer to well done than medium rare and that's a little sad. Now I do understand that this is not a steak house, but if you chef cannot cook a steak you are not in a good place. My wife and daughter liked their food, so I guess as long as you stick with crab-legs you are fine. Could have been a one-time thing but you know what they say about first-impressions. For the record, they did take my meal off the check without problems.”

• Great Family Friendly Atmosphere - with "gators"!
• Food was good, but not great.

“Food was good, but we were there for the alligators. If you set on the back deck, you can entertain the kids through dinner with lagoon featuring about seven alligators that can be spotted throughout your stay. The kids loved it.”
