• Atmosphere, food and people watching.
• Wait can be long at times.

“Have eaten here many times and the food has been very good each time. Have taken my college age sons and their friends; all loved it. Sushi is great- Seafood was great- Steaks were great. No complaints. It may take a little while to get a table it is a very popular place. You can eat at the bar which we have done a few times. Very popular place. Great place to have a drink and people watch too.”

• First class chef and excellent food.
• Wine lists without fine "wines by the glass", a big minus.

“A good restaurant with very well prepared gourmet food, as expected from an exceptional chef, but surprisingly the wine list did not Include wines by the glass and was offered a very cheap "house wine". Very disappointing!”

• Fresh great tasting Chinese food.
• Sometimes they are too busy to answer the phone.

“Great Chinese food. You can order and pick up for lunch or dinner (no eating in). Gets very busy for lunch so order an hour ahead of time.”

• Great food, great service and great Saturday night music.
• Sometimes crowded.

“Food is fantastic, with a distinctive Italian carbine touch. If you are locking for the best "monitor" ever, ask for Giovanni, the bartender (international bartender champion, straight from Havana) and he will introduce you to the real one, no gimmicks, he worked at the place the monitor an daiquiri were born. If it's not in the menu, no problem, they will cook your food and it will be delicious. Saturday night is my favorite with a great singer "Mateo" that will make you and your lady stay after you had your dinner for an after drink. Caramel, keep it up!”

• Great food, great place.
• The drinks were a little over priced, and the staff or at least my waitress was not pleasant at all!

“The food is absolutely amazing. I had the coffee rubbed rib eye and it was wonderful. My husband had the crab cakes and he decided there was no other restaurant that can compare.”

• A little pricey on the desserts, but they are worth it.

• Open mic night, Irish flavor, good food, excellent beer, great fun.
• Except for a few waiters and the managers, the service wasn't always great.

“John Martin's was one of my favorite things about Miami/Coral Gables. It was nice for a quiet weekday lunch, even better for an evening out with friends. They were more than accommodating for a large group on special occasions, and the food was great. Sundays' open mic nights (John Brown's Acoustic Music Showcase) were always a treat and they have a very good variety of wines and draft beers. And the Spinach Artichoke dip is divine.”

• Great food, atmosphere, and location.
• Service can get sluggish during rush hour lunch.

“AMAZING! Rustic South American dishes at very reasonable prices. Great decoration, ranch style tables and chairs with Spartan paintings. A true gem in an otherwise hectic section of town. A must for anyone doing business near Miami International/Blue Lagoon. ”
