“Highly recommended and will return. I was on vacation with my family and we had lunch at Sunset. What a pleasant surprise! The food was great, we had seafood and it was fresh and cooked perfectly. The price was right, and our waitress was very friendly. We sat on the deck next to the water and it was very nice.”

“This place is a blast. I spent a long weekend in Cocoa Beach and got the best service here, and the food was great. It was a little slow the night I went though, but they had a great band.”

“The kitchen, staff, managers cannot get the food or service right. Cold, under cooked, things floating around in your drink and glasses. Very slow and inexperienced service. Most unprofessional restaurant I have ever attended.”

“Table had dried food stain on it. Wall next to table had dried food stains. Portions were small. Overpriced. Would not go there again.”

“My 92 yr. old mother with dementia insists we always go to the shanty as she remembers Sand Point in Titusviille, from years ago, which was fairly decent. LS is always a huge disappointment, though I forced to there at least 2x a month, the staff never recognizes us, even though the man and woman by the register/check-in desk have been there for years. We always go at lunch time and always sit in the upper level, as my mother can't negotiate the steps to the lower level. For my mom's special birthday, we had 5 people - the waitress acted put out with us - just for being there - we have never gotten to know any waitress, because the staff turnover is so high. The renovation a few years ago was an improvement, but overall the place is a dump, I guess geared toward the unsuspecting tourist. I am so sick of spending my time and money at a place that cares so little for it's local clientele. The food was mediocre, but at least the staff and atmosphere were nice.”

“I visited for years before becoming a local resident, since leaving Florida. I miss only the inner room.”

“Very slow service. The hostess was slow to seat us and the server was even slower to get water and take our order. The server didn't have time to answer our questions or recommend any selections. The restrooms were dirty and no soap was present in either the men or women's restroom. After pointing this out to the Manager, nothing was done even when we pointed out that soap still had not been placed in the restrooms when we departed. The salads we received had brown lettuce and we should have gotten up and left, but we didn't. Our mistake. The main meal was ok, but I will never go here again. I made a vow with my wife that if we ever get a salad that looks like this again that we would leave regardless of how hungry we are.”

“Ate on 5/08. Took a weeks vacation in Florida, and this was the worst food. Even worst than IHOP. I had the tilapia which was over cooked had what were supposed to be scallops on top with a hollandaise sauce. The scallops could have been anything, as they had no taste. The hollandaise was a sickly gray in color and the texture of oatmeal. The fries tasted like the had been fried in the same grease as was used for fish.”

“A statue of a little Julius is awaiting you as you walk in. coincidently, Julius and his wife Tonya own the place. They serve the best Italian grub around.”

“This was a great restaurant! I went with a party of 7 and they immediately made room for us with no problem. The food was great and the service was amazing! Every time I go to the beach I always make a stop at the Fish house.”

“My husband and I stopped in for and drink. We were passing by on our way back to Orlando. Glad that we did. We decided to stay for dinner I had the crab cakes and my husband had the Prime rib. What a great dinner it was.”

“Brevard county is very limited in "variety" of places, foods to eat so this is a nice break from the norm of olive garden, red lobster, Perkins, carabbas, Chicago UNO, etc. It's no Benihana's but it's still fun. You do have the option of sitting at a table where the food is prepared in front of you or you can choose to sit at their sushi bar or at one of the two tables in the side. In the summer time it gets kind of hot in front of the cooking stations. I believe it's a small, family owned restaurant so Im certain they do not have unlimited funds to update their bathrooms, air conditioning, etc. Again, it's a nice break from the norm.”

“We have been there twice and had outstanding food and impeccable service both times. If you don't mind paying a bit more it is definitely worth it. The view is awesome if you sit on the dock. Our first time there we saw dolphins swimming.”

“An employee of Ron Jon's suggested this restaurant for lunch and although we were hesitant, we gave it a try. After being on the road for 7 days, eating in all sorts of places, I have to say, it was the best fish sandwich I have ever had. The kids menu cheeseburger was good, and huge for a kids meal. The onion rings were great and my husband had the fish/chips special, which he said was good. We were there on a Thursday afternoon around 2:00, so it wasn't crowded, but I would imagine that at night the place would be hopping. I would eat there again, but I would make sure that I went at a time when it wasn't crowded. The parking was a little tight, but hey it's a pier side restaurant! That's what to be expected.”

“5 of my friends from California dined with me at jack bakers last night. I am most impressed by the friendliness and courtesy of our 2 servers. The food was great and the price is better than most seafood restaurants Iżve been to. I will definitely a returning guest.”

“We always enjoy eating at the lobster shanty in cocoa beach. I think they do a particularly good job with fresh fish, perhaps not as well with shellfish. If you enjoy an alcoholic beverage before or with your dinner, I suggest you stick to beer or wine. My wife and I conferred after our dinner and agreed that they serve the most watery liquor drink on the east coast. We thought perhaps the female bartender who took our order forgot to add any alcohol whatsoever. The only disappointment in an otherwise enjoyable experience. ”

“This is among the best Asian cuisine I've had on the East Coast. The food is impeccable and unique. It is a derivative of a New York City Chinese Restaurant that was very successful. I can't recommend this food enough. Try the fried bananas for desert they are impressive.”

“Absolutely great Cuban cuisine. I should I'm married to a great Cuban cook. Honestly this restaurant has great food and great prices. It's got all the favorite Cuban dishes and I've never had greasy food there which is an amazing accomplishment considering they're cooking Cuban food. Again I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that visits the area.”

“The food, staff, and atmosphere here is AMAZING. You walk in and feel like family! No joke You feel like you belong. The staff treats you so well and Roberto is always there. He actually serves you the paella, you can see him in the kitchen as you walk in and for some reason its just so cool. The flavoring of there food is so different then any I've had before and its wonderful. If this restaurant was in my home town if be there at least 3 nights a week!!!! The desert is also to DIE FOR! Get the flan! You can not go wrong! Its flavor is amazing as it melts in your mouth!! If you ever visit cocoa beach don't forget to stop in and experience the best Cuban food EVER!!!!”

“Impeccable service and food. I've never had a bad meal here, and this is where I've had some of my best. Normally I don't eat seafood in a Chinese rest, but at Yen Yen, I head for the seafood first. Try Seafood Rendezvous', or Snow White Prawns. It's ALL good!”

“The Tokyo Steakhouse in Cocoa Beach was not at all as expected. It was a clean place but the food overall was not at all good for the price you had to pay. The cooks that cook your food on the grill in front of you did not talk to you or try to have a conversation with you at all. The food was burnt to a crisp and all of the food was covered with this sauce that kinda tasted like a soy sauce but it was on everything veges and such. The bathrooms were dirty and were in worse shape than most gas station bathrooms. Overall I would not pay to eat at Tokyo Japenese Stakehouse again. Thank You.”
