• Friendly staff and great service with an awesome view.
• Sometimes the food can be a little long in coming, but it is all prepared to order.

“My family and I love to go to this restaurant. The new menu is fantastic and they are always helpful. Many times they have made special impromptus dinners for our friends based on their dietary needs. I have had many of their servers and find all of them good. By far my favorite thing about this restaurant is the family feel. The lovely hostess came to our aid when our daughter was getting restless and carried her around so that we could enjoy our hot meal. I am not saying that there haven't been mistakes, but they have always been quick to fix them and make things right. I would recommend Sandy.”

“Enjoyed a fine meal there on my birthday. Service was very good as was the freshness and quality of the food. Portion sizes were ample. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Going back again next week. I consider this one of be better restaurants in the Cape.”

• Great food and reasonable prices, excellent view.
• Little bit of a drive, but worth it.

“I took my family and parents for dinner a few weeks ago while on vacation and it was excellent. Denise our waitress took great care of us and the young lady (manager) stopped by a couple times to check on us as well. The food was great. I had the Tuna appetizer and the prime rib. Everyone enjoyed their dinners and Denise took great care of us never letting us wait too long for drinks or refills. The view is excellent and the nautical antiques made for great dinner conversation (dad is ex-navy). I will definitely go back next time I am down in Ft. Myers.”

“I've been there when the prime rib was outstanding and I've been there when it's really bad. Service overall is good. They are friendly people. I'm thinking a little help for the chef or perhaps a new chef might be the answer.”

• The location on the water.
• Lousy food, no atmosphere. should have buffet music playing, some decor and Fun.

“Physically the restaurant has everything going for it, but no personality, no action. Does not take advantage of the waterfront or the beautiful sunsets. After ordering a couple of appetizers, we decided to move on to another spot for dinner. We live in Cape Coral and will probably not return to this restaurant.”

• The entertainment was fine.
• Service was very poor.

“We had a party of 11 and sat in the Tiki area. This restaurant had been recommended. Two members of our party did not receive their food until we were almost ready to leave. The service was poor to mediocre. I ordered my food and a drink, when the drink did not come after 15 ,the waitress told me "well you've got to tell me." I had thought ordering food and drink was communicating what I wanted. I did not appreciate the insolent tone. Two orders of clam chowder was sans clams and loaded with potatoes, we had not ordered potato soup. In addition it was cold when served, as was most of the food. Our group received food in shifts of two or three, we could not eat together. If the waitress had been more attentive we would have been able to order more drinks. The restaurant was not busy and we were in the outside dining area. I did speak with the manager and apparently if you sit inside the service is better. In the distant past this had been a great place on the island to kick back and enjoy a good meal. I hope that it returns to it's former days. The entertainment is fine.”

• Location.
• Inconsiderate management horrible service if you are lucky enough to get any.

“Most horrible experience had a 7pm reservation, arrived at 6:45pm at 9:20 we still did not have food. Manager did not seem to care, and the only person on the staff that was sympathetic was a bus boy. That was our second bad experience at this restaurant and our last. It is a shame to have such a great location and an awful representation of this area.”

• Hard to find, call for directions.

“Everything from the wait staff to the food was excellent. Our kids had a great time and enjoyed feeding the fish and getting surprises. The atmosphere was very enjoyable and casual.”

• Everything from atmosphere to food was a great experience.
• Wish I could have been in town for another dinner experience.

“Our trip to the Moorings was great. The service was out of this world. The owner was great with our kids as he gave them bubbles to blow and little cars to play with. We were very outgoing and gave us an awesome welcome to Cape Coral. The cook Sue came out to speak with fellow employees at the table next to us and went out of her way to ask how we were doing and asked how the food was and there was anything we needed. We received a lot of free samples of foods they serve. Over all experience was the best family atmosphere. We all had fun, including our kids. It was like walking into a carnival. We will be back again next year. Gotta order the whole belly clams, YUM and grouper Vidalia.”

• The food was great. There were no peas or carrots in the fried rice and it was not yellow.
• They only have beer and wine.

“I finally found a good Chinese restaurant. The food was fabulous and the service was good. Its one of the only sit down Chinese restaurants in the area. Whoever is cooking in the kitchen really knows what he is doing. If you are tired of looking for the good old fashion Chinese food, you need to try this place. .”

• The food was good except for the rotten baked potato.
• The service and attitude of management.

“The food was good, we went on a Saturday night, and however the service was terrible! Our server Debbie left us sitting for 20 minutes before she approached the table. She was busy chatting across the room. We ordered our beverages and dinners, and she brought the side dishes with the drinks, the applesauce, coleslaw and vegetables. We had no silverware; it took quite awhile to get her back to the table. When dinner came, the baked potato was black inside. The server said she cut it, but didnt bother to look at it. My ice tea was never refilled during the whole meal, and she did ask us if we wanted dessert 3 times within 5 minutes. We waited a long time for the check, and when she did bring it, she never came back for it, and we gave it to someone else. Never again will we go here, it was awful!”

• The phone is always busy when I want to place a to go order.

“Excellent sandwitches and traditional Italian dishes served in a cozy outdoor cafe. Try the Soprano sub. They take cash only.”

• Employees were friendly.
• Waiter wasn't as attentive as he should have been, and thats it!

“I went to Ariani's on my anniversary last May and had a blast. Chef Dario came to our table and told some jokes, the bartender and hostesses were a pleasure and the food was excellent. I am definitely going to eat at this restaurant again. ”

• Great variety, fresh ingredients, helpful service, friendly people.
• Most dishes have meats but that can be altered as requested.

“Chef Dario has put together a wonderful restaurant, serving a variety of delicious meals with Northern Italian flair. They also are happy to cook a meal that is not listed on the menu. If you go, be sure to ask to meet Chef Dario as he is a genuinely great and fun person. He is "truly remarkable" as he likes to say! He has a very intriguing background and is always interested in meeting new people. The restaurant is just as much about the great food as it is about his great personality and fun atmosphere. And if you're into cooking at home, you might want to pick up his "Simple Gourmet Cooking" DVD, which shows how to prepare six of his personally favorite meals. It's also available through his web site, chefdario.com.”

• out front you can't tell how great it is inside.

“Delicious food here! Full Bar and tiki hut with live music. Great seafood and steaks. I hear the prime rib is great. The oysters are the best. ”
