• Noisy, located in a parking lot.

• Very good food - nice staff - very good value.
• Sometimes have colorful, but harmless people loitering about outside.

“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. The cuisine is not Tex-mex or American, it is Mexican, and they don't feel the need to put too much cheese on everything like other local so called Mexican establishments, that are really microwaved mexirican. Try the Tampiquena with a steak or the breaded chicken breast, or the Milanesa platter or any other chefs recommendation. Their sopapillas are very good, and if you are a fish lover the deep fried snapper is a treat. The most expensive thing on the menu is about $13.00 and drinks are very reasonable too. Very good value here.”

“I love good food, like to cook and don't mind paying over the average cost for a really good dinner. The steaks were good but were accompanied by frozen fries which at $34 for the Entree is outrageous and disappointing. How hard would it be to make fresh fries, not! Far better to try the delightful Angelina's, nearby, which has a wonderful menu, unusual Entrees as well as the more familiar, extensive wine list and delightful desserts. Very well informed staff and friendly even with the children.”

• Grouper fish was fresh and tasty.
• Expect a wait if you want to sit on the patio.

“The food was very good, but servings were on the small size. The bartenders were friendly, but overall I always got the feeling I was rushed as there always is a line.”

“Terrible. Never again. On Monday March 10th/08 our party of six arrived 5 minutes before our 7.00pm reservation. We waited and waited and waited for someone to seat us. Meanwhile 15 to 20 more people arrived behind us for seating. The restaurant appeared to 2/3's full. The wait staff was running around in and out of the kitchen which appeared to be busy as seen through the glass in the doors. Finally we stopped a waiter who quickly informed us the restaurant was closing and everyone waiting to be seated had to leave. This happened right at the peak of the dinner hour. Explanation given was they had a gas leak in the kitchen which no one bought as an excuse as the stoves remained on in the kitchen and existing patrons remained seated. We then went to Anthony's on Hwy 41 south of Bonita Beach Rd and had excellent meal and service. Don't waste your time on Vincenzos when there are much better restaurants in the area.”

“The food was GREAT!!! the service was OK. Our waiter was nice enough, but not outstanding. The atmosphere is nice, low-lit type of place that is great for any special occasion or just night out. Two people can eat a three course meal here for 20 a person. or you could cheat your way out spending just over 12 bucks... for dinner!!! Its a GREAT PLACE.”

• Looking forward to eating there again, great variety and we can stay on our diets!
• It is so far from Tampa!

“The traffic on Hwy 41 is so hectic, we spotted Duval Street, made a u-turn and went back. Great decision. Island atmosphere, colorful, fun and friendly people, both those that work there and the locals. Tried various apps and cocktails. We returned twice for lunch while we were in town. Highly recommend it! Love that flamingo over the bar adds to the smiles!”
